Legal Information Hi, my username is LoC_Leftie, and this is another one of my guides made only for Cheathappens.com. This guide is not to be copied by anybody unless told by myself. This guide is made specifically for Cheathappens and therefore has my permission to be posted on the site. In this walkthrough I will give out information regarding the Ocarina songs learned throughout the game. I will give out two sets of info on the songs, one for the normal songs, and another for the warping songs. 2. Normal Songs This set of songs includes: Zelda's Lullaby, Saria's Song, Epona's Song, the Sun Song, the Song of Storms, the Song of Time, and the Scarecrow Song. I will give out information from where you obtain it and who gives it to you, when you get it in the game, how to play it, and any special effects it has. 2.1 Saria's Song When: You learn this song right when you exit the Kokiri Forest, not going into the Lost Woods or visit the Great Deku Tree, but when you leave the forest to get into Hyrule Field. Where: Saria first gives you your Fairy Ocarina. She teaches you this song on a little bridge right outside Kokiri Forest. It is a cut scene when she does this, all of the songs are, so luckily you won't have to do anything. How to play it: C-Down, C-Right, C-Left, C-Down, C-Right, C-Left Special Effects: This song is important because later in the game when you play this song, your fairy, Navi, will ask if you want to talk to Saria. Saria will tell you some important information sometimes. Also, when you are older, you can play this song in the Kokiri Forest in front of certain characters and they will recognize you and allow you to get in secret areas. 2.2 Zelda's Lullaby When: There will be a cut scene when you first meet the young Princess Zelda. She will tell you about some secret stuff, and talk about how she thinks Ganondorf is really evil. Where: This is in the princess's castle, after you sneak past all of the guards without letting them see you. Well, first of all you have to get to Hyrule, and get to her castle. Then you have to get into the inner green, and cunningly sneak past more guards. When you finally reach her, there is the cut scene where she talks about Ganondorf and finally gives you the lullaby. How to play it: C-Left, C-Up, C-Right, C-Left, C-Up, C-Right Special Effects: Without this song, you can't get past most of the dungeons. When there is a Triforce symbol on the wall or the ground when you are in a temple, play the song, and it triggers an effect like lowering water, or moving boats. Anyways, this song also makes treasure chests appear. It is also proof that you are a royal messenger. 2.3 Epona's Song When: At night in Lon Lon Ranch, you will hear a girl singing. That girl is Malon, daughter of Talon, owner of Lon Lon Ranch. Where: In the middle of the horses' enclosed field. Enter it and talk to Malon, the girl singing. She will talk to you about how her little horse Epona always comes to anybody that plays the song. Momentarily, Epona will run over, and if you try to follow her, she'll walk away from her timidity. How to play it: C-Up, C-Left, C-Right, C-Up, C-Left, C-Right Special Effects: When this song is played in Hyrule Field or around the Lakefront, but not in towns, villages, or dungeons. Epona will come running towards you out of nowhere. She is very useful for jumping fences and getting quickly around Hyrule Field. Now it won't take two days and nights to cross the field. 2.4 Sun Song When: You receive this song in the graveyard when you beat the puzzles in Kakariko Graveyard. Where: This song is found in under the last gravestone in the Kakariko Graveyard. You have to play Zelda's Lullaby in front of the last gravestone to get into the tunnel and complete all the puzzles. How to play it: C-Right, C-Down, C-Up, C-Right, C-Down, C-Up Special Effects: This song can be used to turn night into day anywhere, except for in dungeons. It also can freeze the undead and the undead mummies in their tracks, so they can't jump on you and suck out your health. 2.5 Song of Storms When: When you first visit Kakariko Village and the Windmill. Where: Inside of the Windmill in Kakariko Village, there is a man with a crank music box. Right when you talk to this guru, he will get angry and tell you all about the song. When you attempt you play a song in front of it, it will get all excited and ask you to play a song for. Then when you are an adult, it will remember the song that you played for it and recognize you. Where: The scarecrow is found in Hylia Lakefront, in what looks like a little garden. How to play it: (This song can be made any way you want, so it doesn't have a set way to play it) Special Effects: In dungeons, your fairy Navi might fly to a certain spot and turn green.
