LEGO Star Wars 2 Walkthrough and FAQ ====================================== Walkthrough and FAQ for the Xbox 360's LEGO Star Wars 2 This is my second wlakthrough/FAQ, the first being th 360's Chromehounds. This Walkthrough is (C) Martin Kent October 2006 Online I'm "ark_the_lad" most places, and my Gamertag is "ArkenMint". Feel free to use this FAQ, but if you do, please make sure it remains credited to me. Any questions or comments can be sent to: ark_the_lad@hotmail.co.uk This FAQ is only posted at Gamefaqs.com, and Northenders.net, where you find a more mature Xbox & 360 Live clan. This is version 1.0, last updated and edited 12th October 2006 I expect to have version 1.01, which will have a more polished 'basic info' section and the Chapter 5 levels added up before or on 21/10/06. I do plan to have the whole thing finished before the end of October. ############################################################################### CONTENTS: (Use the Edit>Find (or Ctrl +F) and copy or cut and paste the six letters in the square brackets to jump to that section. All of the unlockables and secrets are explained in the order that they are obtainable, and I've based it around the levels themselves, since you might need a reminder of what to do when replaying in Free Play mode. The Achievement guide is just a list of them, but there are some tips for getting them in the Unlockables, Secrets & 100% section. 01.01: Controls ---------------- Just a basic outline. Be aware that different characters will have different moves, slightly. For example, Droids can't jump. Character Left thumb stick/Dpad = Movement X Button = Attack A Button = Jump B Button = Use (also holsters Weapon) Y Button = Change Character (must be stood near) LT, RT, LB, RB = Cycle through Characters (Free Play Mode only) Ships Left thumb Stick/DPad = Movement X Button = Laser Guns A Button = B Button = Fire Torpedo Y Button = LT, RT, LB, RB = Cycle through Ships (Free Play Mode only) 01.02: LEGO Star Wars Marketplace Content ----------------------------------------- Hurmm... Should you/shouldn't you, buy that marketplace content? I did, but only because I'd replayed the whole of the first game on my 360, and was very frustrated that it still wouldn't unlock the old characters. I was quite looking forward to it. It does make replaying it easier - You can get stuck into the Freeplay mode much earlier and more successfully if you've got Jango and Maul (other wise you have to wait for Episodes V and VI, respectivley). It all depends how attached you are to those characters, or how impatient for the secrets you are. For the purposes of this guide, it's assumed you have bought the extras, but don't feel that you have to (certainly, most of them are without much use, to be honest - Don't believe me? Pick General Grievous, and try for yourself!). I personally think it's a slipery slope, charging real money for a game 'reward' - something you should have 'earnt' through play, not cash. Just a thought. 01.03: Character Classes ------------------------ Each character in LEGO Star Wars has certain attributes and abilites that will be needed in the levels. What follows is a very basic introduction to the main six classes. The characters listed here are all unlocked through Story mode - Characters you need to buy are listed in the Unlockables, Secrets & 100% section, and characters from the original game are listed in brackets. Bounty Hunter: --------------- All Bounty Hunters are Blaster characters, and can also use Thermal Detinators. They have very varied and individual abilites, e.g. IG-88 can open both Protocol and Astromech droid doors, but can't build, and Boba Fett carries the single most poweful gun in the game... They can open doors denoted by a green circle on the floor near a panel with a picture of either Guido, Boba Fett, or Bossh. Can only be used by a Bounty Hunter Character, or someone wearing Bossh's helmet (only in EP VI level 'Jabba's Palace'). Examples- (Jango Fett) Gudio Blaster: --------- The bread and butter of the game. There are two types, basic and advanced. All types can shoot and use grapple points, but advanced characters can also dodge incoming attacks. Examples- Basic Captain Antillies Advanced Princess Leia Droids: -------- Come in two flavours; Protocol and Astromech. Each has a specific door panel that they can use. They cannot fight, build or jump. But Astromechs can stun other droids, and hover over distances. Droids can also survive in environments hostile to other characters, such as Toxic swamps or clouds of poison gas. Examples- Astromech R2-D2 Protocol C3-P0 Imperial: ---------- They are normally Blaster characters, although Vader and the Emporer are also Imperial. They can open doors denoted by a white circle on the ground and a picture of a stormtrooper. Examples- Stormtrooper Jedi: ------ Good Force users, they can double jump and carry a lightsabre. Denoted by blue 'sparkles', Jedi characters can use the force on them. They also have a double jump, and fight with a lightsabre. They can also 'stun' opponents with the Force. Examples- Obi Wan Kinobi Sith: ------ Sith have all a Jedi's powers and more; they can use the force on any Jedi areas, and can also use it in some Sith (denoted by red sparkles) only areas; Also, when using the force on opponents, they tend to kill, not stun! Examples- (Darth Maul) Darth Vader ############################################################################### 02.00 Main Story Walkthrough [MSWKTH] You start in the Cantina with Princess Leia and Captain Antilles. You can't really do much until you've completed the first level, so lets get to it, eh? If you really want to, you can scrape together about 29,000 studs, from the Cantina level, inside and out, at the moment. Though it might not really be worth the hassle. ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode IV Chapter 01: Secret Plans [MS0401] --------------------------------------------------- Well, the bad news is you aren't going to be getting any Minikit pieces or the power brick, first time through. The good news is you will get plenty of studs, if you shoot everything you can. Make sure you come back with either a Imperial or a Bounty Hunter and a Sith to clean the level out in Free Play. Press B to construct two consoles out of the Lego pieces, which opens the door forward. You can pull the lever on the left for a heart and a stud, and there are six crates to destroy. Room 02: --------- Simply pull the lever (B Button again), Captain Antilles will take care of the other one, and the door will open. If you have a Force user, open the wall panels before destroying them and the two crates for studs. Room 03: ---------- Follow the crew into your first firefight. You need to take out 12 stormtroopers (three waves of four) before you can carry on. Again, if you can, use the Force on the wall panels before destroying them. The door to your left needs a Protocol Droid to open, and leads to an odd room, with only two crates in it. Room 03.01: Double Score Zone (Sith) ------------------------------------ The door on your right as you enter Room 03 can only be opened with a Sith character. Inside is a Minikit, and every stud collected here is doubled in value - Don't forget, as well as destroying the crates, to use the force on all the grill sections. AREA 02: =============================================================================== Room 01: ---------- Simply a case of using the grapple points to get to the very top, then building the mechanisms on both sides to extend the bridge. Lot's of tempting goodies that you're going to have to come back for - With a Jedi/Sith you can build two platforms near the very top of the room which lets you jump up to a Minikit, and with a Bounty Hunter you can destroy the silver barrels (on the entrance level), letting you get down to a Minikit. The crawl space door only leads to a couple of blue studs. Room 02: --------- Not really a boss fight, but you're about to face Vader. Run Quickly forward as soon as you enter, and pull the furthest lever on the right (or left - you don't need to do both). Take care of the two stormtroopers, then blast the canister that is now next to Vader 5 times to blow it up and scare him off. The Stormtroopers here will constantly re-spawn, until Vader leaves, but only come in pairs. No great stud count here, just a couple of crates. Room 03: --------- Again, nothing here yet, but the promise of later riches. Take out all the wall panels (Don't forget to use the Force on them first, if you can) and move on through the open door on the left. The door on the right leads to Area 06, Room 01, but needs a Bounty Hunter to open it. The crate nearest the wall contains a Purple grape block, which, when you've found two more, grants you a Minikit in Area 06, Room 01. And if you've played through Free Play as a Sith, this room is where you should get True Jedi Status. AREA 03: =============================================================================== Room 01: --------- Another fire fight. You need to take out 8 Stormtroopers (two groups of four), to carry on. You should hit True Jedi Status here, in Story Mode, if you've been getting everything. The levers on the right (as you enter the room) opens a window to show Vader having fun with the crew, and those on the left grow some flowers, which gives you a stud bonus. Walk on the red panels on the floor for quite a few studs (touch the one on its own first, then quickly run over the others. This works on both sides). Room 02: --------- The first of many push block puzzles. Not too taxing, simply push the both the blocks onto the areas with the red lights. After you've slid in both, the door will open. Be careful, as when it does, three Stormtroopers will rush at you. With a Force user, you can stack to two crates on the raised section to let you jump up to a Minikit piece, and don't forget to use the Force on the orange blocks on the far wall to build a ramp for a nice stud bonus, as well as destroy all of the railings on the right as you enter. (you can also use the Force to light the lights on the fence, but most of them just tumble off the edge). Room 03: --------- Take control of C3-PO, and have him use the Protocol droid panel, lowering the force field. You get a cut scene, and Leia leaves (make a note of where she runs to for Free Play). Take control of R2-D2, and have him open the door on the far wall, then switch to Captain Antilles. In Free Play, use the force on the grills near where Leia left to re-open her hiding hole (immediately left after the barrier), revealing a Minikit. Guess Leia can use the Force, huh?! (and don't forget to pull studs out of all the grills in this and other corridors.) AREA 04: =============================================================================== Room 01: --------- Take it a bit easier with Captain Antilles, as he's a basic Blaster character and so can't dodge incoming attacks like Leia could. Keep moving. Jump into the crane (press Y) straight away, and deposit the two stormtroopers over the edge (In story mode, they won't target you). Stay in the crane as the crew member (Rebel Friend) lowers the bridge, and C-3PO crosses it. Pick up 3PO with the crane, and place him on the furthest side, in front of the door. Jump over to him (or switch to R2-D2 and hover, if you like), before becoming 3PO and opening the door. Not much to do extra in Free Play, you can shoot the crate on the far side near the exit to create a grapple point, allowing you to collect the few studs scattered about up there. And there's a vehicle lift that you need to drive the car/truck (?) found in Area00, Room 00/Area 00, Room 00 onto for a Minikit. Room 02: --------- One big firefight, with six waves of enemies, spread over the next two rooms. You have to defeat (22 in total) 8 stormtroopers (two groups of four), then 3 Stormtroopers with a Imperial Officer, then 2 Stormtroopers with a beach trooper and another Imperial Officer. When you've got them all, 2 more Stormtroopers will run at you, but one trooper and a Imperial Shuttle Pilot will hold back in the other room. Shooting the third panel on the left will give you Flowers #01, and you need to find two more to get the Minikit in Area, Room 00. Room 03: --------- Take care of the trooper and the black uniformed guy, they like to hide behind the bulk head. Once they are dealt with, the final 4 Stormtroopers will appear, but again, two will hide and two will charge. take out the two charging, then either build the platform or jump over to get the other two. AREA 05: =============================================================================== Room 01: -------- Nothing really here, just be sure to open the grills if you're got a Force user with you. Room 01.01: (Imperial) ----------------------- Requires an Imperial to open the door. Inside, there are two crates, one of which contains Flower #02, leaving you the last one to find to get the Minikit at Room 03. You can build the Protocol Droid panels for a stud bonus, and if you have C-3PO access them, it throws random Imperials out into space... Room 03: --------- Another corridor. You can build a platform, of just jump across. The Silver barrel as you enter will give you Flower #3, if you blow it up with a Bounty Hunter's Thermal detonator, and if you have uncovered the other two flowers, the Minikit will appear to the far end of room 03. At the end of the room, you have three doors, have R2 open the one on the left, then the centre one. Switch to a Blaster character, and take care of the two bathing troopers, and throw the switch on the far wall. Then enter the first door R2 opened, and pull the switch there as well, which retracts the cover on the protocol droid panel. Change to 3PO, and activate the newly revealed panel on the right, then have R2 enter it and use the panel to end the level. In Free Play, you can have a Sith use the force to drain the bath in the central opening, gaining you a mini kit. AREA 06 (Secret - Requires Bounty Hunter/Imperial) =============================================================================== Room 01: --------- Entered via the Bounty Hunter door in Area 02, Room 03. A long corridor, which connects with Area 06, Room 02 on the left, and at the furthest end has two doors, one on the left and one on the right. Enter both of them to blow out some Lego pieces, and assemble them to make a third door, revealing a Minikit. Room 02: --------- Entered Via the Imperial door in Area , Room . A long corridor that connects with Area 06, Room 2 to the right, and to the left, leads to the large Room 3. One of the crates here will yield Purple Grapes Block #02, and destroying the silver barrels with a Thermal Detonator frees up some pieces that can be assembled into an Orange buggy, one of the ways to get the Minikit in Area 04, Room 01 (drive it there and park it on the car lift on the right as you enter). Halfway down, there is a barrier requiring a Protocol Droid, and just past this on the left, is a crate with Purple Grapes Block #03 in, opening up the Minikit round the corner, in Area 06, Room 01. Room 03: --------- A large hydroponics bay. The Silver Barrels at the far end can be blown up with a Thermal Detonator, and give studs. All of the bays around the room will grow plants if manipulated by the Force, and if you then destroy the plants, the three bays on the left give studs, the three furthest away give pieces of a milk truck (which needs to have the pieces first built and then Force assembled). This truck can also be driven to Area Room and parked on the vehicle lift for the Minikit there. The bay nearest the door (immediately on the right as you enter) reveals the Power Brick for this level (Super Blasters), and the bay next to it just gives some more studs. You should have in the region of around 110,000 Studs as a basic starting point, in Story mode, and a whopping 250,000 Studs if you clear out the level in Free Play. ! True Jedi status in Story Mode is 40,000 Studs. No problem, just shoot all of the wall panels and crates, you'll have it halfway through the level. ! True Jedi Status in Free Play at 70,000 Studs. Again, no hardship, and you don't even need access to any of the locked areas to get that total. ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### 02.02 Episode IV Chapter 02: Through the Jundland Wastes [MS0402] ------------------------------------------------------------------- A little easier, there's a bit of stuff you can get here first time through. You also get to mess about with a Jedi character, (Obi Wan) so be sure to get used to the differences in play between using the force and how a lightsabre and a blaster handle; both have their uses... Build the castle, then destroy it, break the Bantha fences, and use the Bantha's to jump up to the higher areas. be aware that the Sandpeople will keep coming at you in this area - they constantly re-spawn, two from the left, and two from the right. Head to the right, and destroy the pile of Lego bricks underneath the rock to lower it, effectively opening the door forwards. Opposite this 'door' is a chasm with some silver barrels across it. Come back in free play to blow them up with a Bounty Hunter, and access the Tusken Village. Section 02: ------------ Quite a long section. Four Raiders (two groups of two) will attack from the cliffs to your left. You can build the grapple point here, but need an Astromech droid and a small character to make the most out of it. There's also a Sith only area to your left. Move on down the canyon, and again, a group of raiders will attack you from the cliff to your right (three groups of three). Moving forwards triggers another group of three raiders, but these will re-spawn constantly until you go to the top most apart of the area and have Ben use the Force to re-assemble the crashed pod into a path up the one-way slippery slope. Nothing else to do but collect some studs (don't forget to user the force on the cans and the shovel), and move on. That Minikit on the left can't be gained until later. In free play, use the grapple point, and then switch to R2 to hover over, and use a Jawa or other short character to get into the hiding hole with the Minikit. Section 02.01: Sith Area -------------------------- In the Sith Area, use the force on the grey and red Lego to build a bomb. Once it's detonated, jump up and break the wall to reveal another. Use the Force to place this bomb, and another alcove is revealed. Jump to it, and then further up, to get to the Minikit. Area 02: =============================================================================== Section 01: ------------ Immediately take out the three raiders on the far cliff, and then build the block in front of you. Push it to the right, to jump up and get some studs, before pushing it toward where the raiders were, and jumping up there. Don't forget to get the studs that are hiding 'under' the camera. Section 02: ------------ Jump across to the outcrop on the left, and down. You can build the grapple point, but it only gets you a few studs. Follow the path on to the Sandcrawler. Section 03: ------------ There are quite a few crates to destroy for studs, there are also three droids to rebuild for studs - one is out in the open, one is hidden in a crate and the third is buried in the sand - use the Force on the shovel to expose it. To get the Blue stud on top of the slope, ride the Bantha and jump off so you land at the top of the slope, sliding down to get the other studs. To get the blue studs underneith the crawler, just destroy the grills (Lightsabre smash works well here) To scale the Sandcrawler, first have Ben use the force on the two crates, jump on them, and use the Force to draw down the lower platform. Switch to Luke and have him build and use the grapple point, pulling the switch when he gets up there. Repeat the process again to turn the lift on, and ride it to the top. Pull both switches (wait for your partner to arrive) to open the way forward, the Jawa's collection scoop, at the bottom of the crawler. You can destroy the bits to the front of the crawler, but will have to come back with a bounty hunter for the silver section to it's rear - once you do, blow them up to reveal two switches, step on one, have your partner step on the other, and a crawl space to the Minikit in the middle of the crawler will be revealed. Don't slide down the chute you exposed by destroying the Lego at the front of the crawler, instead, jump off near the front of the crawler to access the alcove with a blue stud in it, and allow yourself to get sucked into the crawler. Area 03: Inside the Sandcrawler ============================================================================== Section 01: ------------ The panel to your left can be built to reveal a Protocol Droid panel. Move on through the corridor, and systematically destroy everything - barrels (one contains a broken droid - reassemble it for studs), wall panels (the ones with red lights on them) and the grills around the corner, which will then reveal yellow handles. You need to use the force on five of these to open the door, and on all of them if you want to open the covers on the two blue studs in front of the door. There's a Sith panel on the floor, but it only leads to a few studs. And if you really want to save time, dispose of any Jawa's you come across from here on in... Section 02: ------------ Ok, you can rebuild the three Droids here for studs, and don't forget to bag all the barrels and wall panels as well. There are four locked gates, and when you pull the lever in the top right, a crate will appear in the room. Push this crate to each of the red panels to free R2-D2, the Minikit, and a good amount of studs. When you're done, have R2 open the lift to the next section. Section 01.01: Behind the Protocol Droid Door ---------------------------------------------- Use the Force on the TV Ariel, and then again to change channel, and again on the glasses on the table, for studs. Use it also on the right wall to rebuild a fan, which reveals a some Lego, that you can build into a power unit. Have R2 work the panel in the corner to attach the motor to it, then use the Force on it for a large stud bonus (you should now hit True Jedi status in Story Mode). Section 03: ------------ There's a Sith panel on the left wall to come back for as well as a Sith movable floor panel to a blue stud. You can use the Force on the pipes for studs. to open the door, run over the two rows of four floor switches, so that two leavers are revealed. Pull them to open the door. Take out the Jawas (easiest with Luke), and push the green turn switch anti-clockwise until the light over C-3PO's tube lights green. Use R2 on the panel to get 3PO out. If you like, you can head back to the beginning of the level, and access that Protocol Droid door now, as well as get True Jedi Status in story mode. Either way, use 3PO to open the door forward. Section 03.01: Sith Area -------------------------- After getting rid of the Sith panel, switch to a short character, and crawl through the grate. Once through, the door opens, and both of you need to step onto the switches to open the next door. Use the Force to turn the handle, and then again on the part of the wall the extends out. Once the molten metal stream is turned off, hover across with R2 to get the Minikit. Section 04: ------------ Just destroy everything - including the support struts for the Sandcrawler's door! Use the Force on the grey panel to make some steps, have 3PO operate the panel at the top of those steps, and build the pieces into a droid for more studs - if you feel the need, at this point. Then head back out into the Jundland wastes. Area 04: =============================================================================== Section 01: ------------ There are two moisture farms here, and 3PO must operate both of them to progress. Take care of the Raiders here (five attack from the left), and you can destroy the Lego 'lump' to reveal a stud filled cave. When you move into the larger area, you will be attacked by six raiders (two groups of three), which is made trickier by the two raiders on the high cliff to the left. Take out these on the left first, to avoid getting caught in a cross fire. Then have 3PO operate the Moisture vaporator, which cleans up the mud or quicksand, and lets you cross to the right side. Build the brown bricks into a ramp for 3PO, and use the force to lift the Grapple hook into place, before building the grapple point, and going up there to collect the Minikit. Once that's done, Have 3PO operate the other vaporator, and you can move on. You can get a lot of studs by destroying the vapourators, then using the Force on the subsequent fauna. To get the Blue stud on top of the arch over the exit, have Ben destroy the nearest Vaporator, and use the Force on the plants. Build the platform, then use the Force on the two barrels, finishing off with the platform, and jumping up. Section 01.01: Sith Area ------------------------- There are five Raiders to take care of (two, then three). Ride a Bantha, and leave it on the big red button, while you step on the smaller one. This opens up the machine holding the Minikit piece. Section 01.02: Bounty Hunter Area ----------------------------------- Throw a Thermal Detonator across the quicksand, jump across, and switch to a short character to get up on the cliff. It's when you are clearing out either this or the main Area here, that you should hit True Jedi Status in Free Play mode. Section 02: ------------ You will immediately be attacked by six (two groups of three) raiders. Have Ben use the Force to make the platform up to where they came from for the studs, then jump up to the platforms on the left to reach the bones, and again, use the Force on them to make a bridge forwards. As you cross it, two Raiders will jump in from the left. To get the Minikit, have Ben double jump to the spindly rock outcrop, which lowers, letting you get at the Minikit's alcove. Climb up on the right, and push the block off the edge, before building it into a bridge to the vapourator. Have 3PO operate the vapourator, and carry on. Section 02.02: Double Score Zone --------------------------------- Once 3PO has operated the vaporator, destroy it, then use the Force on the plants on the left hand side to reveal Lego pieces that can be built into a step. Jump up to get to the double score Zone. Be sure to get the studs on the right (once you're up there), as that's still in the Zone. Section 03 ----------- One last canyon to navigate. Use the Force on the seeds to grow trees you can destroy for studs, and while there aren't anymore raiders, there are two Jawas who will make a beeline for the Droids! Use the force on the canisters up on the right, and destroy all the Lego lumps on the canyon walls - many studs are hiding within. Area 05: =============================================================================== Section 01: ------------ Repair the Landspeeder (as well as using the Force on the cylinders, and destroying the crates for studs), and hop in it to cross the quicksand. As soon as you get to the other side, stop, and repair the switch at the bottom of the screen, and pull it, which raises the bridge and lets the others cross. Move on, and you'll get attacked by stormtroopers. After you've dealt with them, stand on one of the switches in front of the house, the others will cross the bridge and join you, pull the newly revealed lever to open the door and end the level. You can also get quite a few studs by breaking all the crates in this area, as well as using the Dewback to get onto the roof, destroying all the fencing, rebuilding and using the Force on the lawnmower, using the Force on the shovel in the lower right corner, and building the Lego chest it unearths, and lastly, have R2 operate the panel on the machine to the right. You can also come back with a bounty hunter, and blow up the silver barrels behind the house. Before you enter the house, and end the level, you might want to check out the area behind it; hop in the Landspeeder and head over the quicksand to discover three islands. Section 02: ------------ A large area of quicksand, with four islands: Section 02.01: Island #01 -------------------------- Has another damaged Landspeeder, some crates and two Silver Barrels (studs). Section 02.02: Island #02 -------------------------- A couple of studs, and two silver barrels (studs). Section 02.03: Island #03 -------------------------- A couple of crates, and some LEGO you can build into a T-16 Skyhopper craft. (doesn't seem to do much, just flies off...) Section 02.04: Island #04 -------------------------- Actually two islands, the furthest one requiring a grapple character, and the nearest one having a Minikit right at the top. Have Ben double jump up to it, and come back for the studs with Luke if you need them. Area 06: (Secret Area: Sandpeople village) =============================================================================== Section 01: The Tusken Village ---------------------------------- Hover across the chasm with R2, and plant a Thermal Detonator on the Silver barrels, before getting quickly out of harms way. Once inside, run straight down to the sealed up mine to draw out three Raiders (the only enemies you'll encounter here.). Head back a little way, and use the Force to stack three containers on top of one another. Jump on it, then across to the cliff. Switch to R2 and hover across to the rock with the mine cart on it, and push it off. It crashes into the sealed mine, revealing Power Brick #02. Take out all the crates, use the Force on the shovels, rebuild the robot, and crawl into the small door to get studs. Then use the Force on the brown blocks near the mine entrance, to jump up to the next level. Take out all the baskets, use the Force on the hut doors to make platforms to get to the blue studs, rebuild the well and use it, and, when you have cleaned out the village, switch to R2, and head to the area the Raiders came from, hover across the gap and get the Minikit there. You can drop down here, it's Area 01, Section 02. You should have in the region of around 130,000 Studs as a basic starting point, in Story mode, and a whopping 170,000 Studs if you clear out the level in Free Play. ! True Jedi status in Story Mode is 75,000 Studs. No problem, just shoot all of the wall panels and crates, you'll have it halfway through the level. ! True Jedi Status in Free Play at 120,000 Studs. Can be tricky, try not to die too much! again, you don't even need access to any of the locked areas to get that total, but you will be cutting it fine. ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### 02.03 Episode IV Chapter 03: Mos Eisley Space Port [MS0403] ------------------------------------------------------------------- CHECKLIST =============================================================================== []Story Mode Complete []Story Mode True Jedi status (165,000) []Free Play Mode True Jedi Status (200,000) ## Minikits-(Landspeeder)------------------------------------------------------ [] Area 01, Section 01 To get this, you need to find all three Giant Carrots: [] Area 01, Section 01 [] Area 01, Section 01 [] Area 01, Section 01 [] Area 01, Section 01.01 [] Area 01, Section 01 (Sith) [] Area 02, Section 01 [] Area 02, Section 01 (Bounty Hunter) [] Area 03, Section 02 (Small) [] Area 04, Section 02 To get this, you need to find all three Big Radish: [] Area 04, Section 01 [] Area 04, Section 02 [] Area 04, Section 02.02 (Protocol/Bounty Hunter) [] Area 04, Section 02.02 (2x Jedi/ Jedi + Sith) [] Area 04, Section 03 [] Area 04, Section 03.01 (Astromech) ## Power Up Brick #03-(Super Lightsabres 26,000)------------------------------- []Area 01, Section 01 ## Characters Unlocked--------------------------------------------------------- []Han Solo []Chewbacca ## Characters available to buy------------------------------------------------- []Sandtrooper (14,000) []Greedo (60,000) []Imperial Spy (13,500) Area 01: =============================================================================== Section 01: ------------ A very large section, with no easy way to divide it up, so bear with me. On the right is an Imperial door for free play. Just before the stairs where you start is a bin containing a Giant Carrot (for the Minikit in Area 00, section 00). You will keep being attacked by Stormtroopers in this area, and although they come in small groups, they re-spawn, making it difficult, so keep your wits about you. Up the stairs is this level's double score zone. There's a Bounty Hunter door to the left (opening this gives you the bits to make a giant fan, essential for getting you high enough to collect the Minikit that appears above it once you've got all three giant carrots). A bit further up the street, on the left, are four small bins. Open them with the Force, and take out the Lego pieces with the force, to make a door R2 can open, leading to this level's Power Brick. Just before these small bins is a Big one with a Large Carrot in it. To get studs, you need to destroy all bins (Use the Force first, on the smaller ones), plant some blocks that become flowers, and jump on every awning. There are some Silver Moisture vaporators that can be Blown up with a Thermal detonator, be sure to do that in free play. There's some bricks you can build into a force manipulatable block to reach some blue studs, and a Sith grate up some steps (which leads to lots of blue studs and a Minikit), at the base of which are some more (blue) blocks that you can plant for Studs, and a small crawl space. There's a bike you can assemble for studs, and the third carrot, in a large bin just next to it. The Minikit can't be picked up until Freeplay, though. Just around the corner, up the top end, is a closed door that needs either 3PO or a Stormtrooper to pass. This bit has constantly re-spawning Stormtroopers, so it requires a little patience if you don't want to die. Hide Ben behind the wall with the step that he can use the Force on. Use it, and make the steps for 3PO. Switch to Luke, and clear out as many Troopers as you can, before changing to 3PO and heading up and to the panel (Don't worry, when you're 3PO, enemies won't target you, just make sure you're not caught in cross fire. open the door to proceed to the next area. Section 01.01: Imperial Bath house ---------------------------------- No enemies, just use the force on the nearest shower to drain the bath and reveal the Minikit. Area 02: =============================================================================== Section 01: ------------- To your right, as soon as you enter, is Section 03, but we'll have to leave it for a moment. There are Troopers here, thankfully they don't re-spawn, but there are 12 of them (Eight followed by four from a far door). Destroy all bins and such for studs, then use the force to build a three high crate tower to get to a Minikit. Destroy the nearby box holding a blue stud, and build a ramp out of the pieces. Take 3PO up the ramp, and open the door there with him. Build the pieces into the AT-ST's cockpit. Destroy the bins next to the door to get the feet, then use the Force to unearth a leg. Next to this, build the hips, then have R2 open the nearby door, which gives you the other leg. Assemble it using the Force, and get ready, as a trooper will show up and steal your new ride! The quickest and safest way of dealing with this is to use the Force on the driver - it instantly kicks him out in one hit, leaving him at your mercy. It can be tricky to do, but practice it, it comes in handy later... Once you're in the AT-ST, head back to where you entered this area, and jump off on the nearby flat roof. Build the guns, and shoot ten Whomprats to get a Minikit. (any time you jump in the gun,. Whomprats will appear, it's good for restocking your hearts if the AT-ST battle didn't go so well. Get Back in the AT-ST, and destroy the nearest barricade to enter this levels other Double score Zone. When you're done, head back to where you assembled the AT-ST, and use it to destroy that barricade, to get to the next section. Be aware that now you've built the AT-ST, a single Trooper will re-spawn from the door where the first one who got in the AT-ST came from. One of the Silver vaporators here will uncover a winch - assemble it and use it to right the leaning starship, and a grapple point will fall down. Build it and use it to get to a Minikit. Section 02: ------------ Walk up to and around the corner, toasting everything in sight with the AT-ST's ferocious guns. Stop just around the corner, and blast away, you should be able to take out all the (7 and a attack drone) Stormtroopers here, before one of them makes it into the other AT-ST parked here (if you don't, it's better to use Ben to unseat the driver than taking him on head to head). Once all of the Troopers are dealt with, the door to the cantina opens. Section 03: Double Score Zone ------------------------------ Just destroy everything. Pay attention to the bins, and the single blue stud hidden behind the big sign. You can get a bonus amount of studs if you backtrack and bring the Landspeeder into the car wash that's here. Area 03: =============================================================================== Section 01: ------------ Simply shoot the blue beams anchor points to free the droids. When all four of you step on the switches, the door to the cantina opens, and in Story Mode, you get a cut scene. Section 02: ------------ You are now in control of Han and Chewie for the second half of this level. Clear out the Cantina of studs, and be sure to get the two blue ones - one is hidden from view by a table, the other is on the far left. In Free Play mode, go through the crawl space to get the Minikit, and be sure to use the Force on the lamps around the Cantina. Area 04: =============================================================================== Section 01 ------------ Be sure to shoot the large bin on the left to reveal a big turnip, another two of which will get you a Minikit. Use the grapple point to climb up, take care of the single Stormtrooper, and build the Grapple point before using it to continue. Section 02 ----------- There's a bounty hunter door straight away that leads to Section 02.01. First of all, stay on this section until you come to another grapple point (try not to fall off). When you're across, pull the switch to produce a large bomb, and push it to the edge of the platform (before you push it over, use it to get to the higher platform with a blue stud at the end), and then over. Take out the three or four Troopers here (being careful not to detonate the bomb!), and then clear out all the bins and such for studs, before pushing the bomb the length of the area, to the large sealed door. Step back a safe distance, and shot at it to blow it and the door up. Section 02.02 : Bounty Hunter/Protocol/Sith Area -------------------------------------------------- Lots to destroy for Studs, here. You should hit True Jedi somewhere in here on Free play. Take two force users to the far end, to turn the panels on the wall, revealing a Minikit. A Sith can also destroy the large door panels leading to Area 00, Section 00, for large amounts of studs. Section 03: ------------ You walk right in to a difficult fire fight. There are twelve Stormtroopers here, and two of them ride Dewbacks. There are also three Stormtroopers on the higher platform, so the best thing to do it to concentrate on unseating a Dewback rider, then use the Dewback to get up to the Troopers on the opposite side from where you entered, taking them out, then the ones now below. Once it's clear, use the pushable block to get the studs, and shoot out the big doors to the left of where you entered. Remember to shoot the dung to make flowers (and studs!) You should get True Jedi Status in this area. When you're done, use a Dewback to get up on the high platform to the left of where you entered, and head down the steps to the first real boss fight. Use R2 in Freeplay to get into the cinema. Section 03.01 The Cinema ------------------------- It's a THIRD Double score Zone! Destroy all the chairs, and the four lights to show the cinema screen itself, which when made with the Force, then destroyed reveals the last Minikit for this level. Area 05: ============================================================================== Section 01: ------------ The Millennium Falcon's landing bay is the scene for the show down with the Imperial Spy. He will twice call Stormtroopers (15 the first time and 20 the second), the third time he calls (only eight), his 4 heart meter will appear. The quickest way to deal with him is - to shoot out the first two waves, then quickly get in to position, in front of the first lower door to the left. It's the first door he makes a break for, after jumping down. With Han, you can quickly shoot him, and finish him before he makes it to the door, leaving you just the remaining eight Stormtroopers left to finish off. Leave the crates and such around the level, in case you need them for hearts. You should have in the region of around 188,000 Studs as a basic starting point, in Story mode, and a whopping 316,000 Studs if you clear out the level in Free Play. ! True Jedi status in Story Mode is 165,000 Studs. This can be very tight, as it's one of the highest totals in the game. make sure you use the Force on things before you shoot them. ! You will reveal a machine that you can use the Force on for lots of studs. Have Ben use the Force on the door to move on. Room 02: --------- Two Stormtroopers will appear from the right, take them out and clean the room of crates. You can head to where the Stormtroopers came from (02.01) or use the machine on the wall to dispense a Stormtrooper helmet to open the door forward. It's always best to put a trooper helmet on everyone in your party, so you've always got a back-up (on hit will remove the helmet), otherwise you are going to spend a lot of this level backtracking! Room 02.01: ------------ A really easy Minikit. Jump in the crane, and drop ten enemies into the pit. Remember that you don't need to stop the crane moving when you've pressed the button - useful for bagging those moving troopers. Once you've got ten, the Minikit extends, pick that up with the crane, and you're done. Room 03: --------- There are three Troopers and an Imperial commander here. Since you're disguised, they won't attack, unless you try to build something, so use this to take out the Commander quickly. Have 3PO open the door just right of where you entered for another easy Minikit. Build the two Lego consoles on the far wall, which, once R2 has used them, opens the door forward. Before you leave, shoot the crates, and the window shields, and make the star destroyer model for studs. Area 02: =============================================================================== Room 01: --------- Almost Straight away, there's an Astromech door on your left. It leads to Room 01.01. The corridor here ends with a big gap, that you can't cross in story mode. It leads to Area 05, and is effectively the secret area for this level. You can shoot the crates and the large grey wall structures for studs, but this will make the Troopers attack you. With your Stormtrooper helmet on, you can just simply walk on by... Unfortunately, if you do, you'll simply be swamped later, so shoot everyone now and save yourself some grief. Room 01.01 ----------- Still using the Astromech Droid, hover over to the left side platform, before grappling up to get the Power Brick () Room 02: --------- On your right are two lifts with cameras above them. Stormtroopers will constantly re-spawn from the lifts in pairs - until you shoot out the cameras above the lift doors. You can work the lifts in free play, with an Astromech. They take you to Room 04. Eventually the corridor ends with an un-jumpable gap. Across the way, you can see Obi Wan is stalled, so help him out, by shooting the troopers he's fighting. When they are all dealt with, he will build a bridge for you to cross. Room 03: --------- Again, there are some re-spawning troopers here that can make your life difficult unless you deal with them. The TIE pilots will keep climbing up (normally in pairs) unless you destroy the grappling hook. Get as close to it as you can, and keep blasting. It's quite difficult to do, and much easier in Free play with a Lightsabre. Take care of the usual crates, pipes and such, and you can get another Trooper helmet here if you need it. Just use the door at the top right to move forward. Room 04: --------- It's... Pretty empty. It's got a few studs, and four hat machines (which give you anything BUT a Stormtroopers helmet). Oh well. Area 03: =============================================================================== Room 01: ---------- Not much here at all. There's another grapple hook to destroy, and the door on the left (which needs the Force to open) is where Area 05 ends. Make sure you've still got a Stormtrooper helmet on, and head through the door to your right. Room 02: --------- Assemble the central mechanism, and turn the green side clockwise, until the bridge moves from the 10 O'clock to the 2 O'clock position, then grapple up. There are a couple of Troopers here (they won't re-spawn), but you can get all the studs available and make it past with out bothering them anyway. In free play, once you're at the very top platform, hover across with an Astromech Droid to get a Minikit. Room 03: --------- Quite a busy control room. You're going to have to take out eight Troopers and the officer. Try your best not to take a hit - it's a fair walk back for another helmet! Once you're alone, shoot out all of the control desks for lots of studs and to make a Minikit appear in front of the screen. There is also a Sith glow to the central console (which gives a lot of studs in free play). Assemble the door scanner, and providing you still have your helmet, proceed. This is the last Imperial security door of the level, once through it, you won't need your Trooper helmet again. Area 04: =============================================================================== Room 01: --------- A long corridor, with two lifts at the far end. There's also a Minikit, but you can only get it in free play. (Use the Force to build a three high crate step, then jump up and push the bomb to the right). Now, you can shoot everyone, and take out all the crates and destructible scenery before heading up the furthest lift to (Room 03) the next section. Or, you can simply walk past everyone, go into the nearest lift, and wind up in the 'double score zone' (room 02), where you can get the True Jedi Status, and move on without once revealing yourself. Remembering that you don't actually need your disguise anymore, I'll leave it to you... Room 02: --------- It's a Double score zone. You can, as mentioned above, get True Jedi here, normally both in Story and Free play. Just by collecting all the studs scattered about in and out of the... Communal (?!)bath. If you want to toast the troopers, though, that's fine. One of the three showers will also give you studs, and you can destroy both turning fans on the ceiling for a few studs. Room 03: --------- The other, furthest lift, takes you to the Prisoner command deck. It's only actually got two officers and a shuttle pilot in it, but it feels much busier than this, because of the two lifts on the far wall. As long as the cameras above them are working, they will both constantly spawn two Stormtroopers to fight you. Taking out the Commanders, then the cameras should be your priority. Once it's a lot quieter, rebuild the central console, and pull the lever to open the door. At the very far end of the corridor, the lift will spawn three Death Star troops, and there's not a lot you can do, they will keep coming at you until you end the level. Leia is in the third cell on the right. Each cell has two levers outside it, and when both are used, the door will open. Once Leia's cell is open, you need to stand on one switch and have the AI or your partner stand on the other to end the level. The other cells have: Cell Left 01: A few studs. Cell Left 02: Lego Bones you can build for studs Cell Left 03: A few studs Cell Left 04: Needs an Astromech Droid. Minikit. Cell Right 01: Some studs Cell Right 02: A few studs Cell Right 03: Leia Cell Right 04: Needs an Astromech Droid. A few Studs. Room 04: --------- If you enter any of the Lifts on this level, even the one the troops are coming from, you end up on the surface of the Death Star, near a couple of Turbo Laser emplacements. Shoot down ten TIE Fighters to get a massive stud bonus. This only works once, however. And it's only really necessary in free play, and is where you should hit True Jedi Status. Area 05: "Ben's Bit" =============================================================================== Room 01: ---------- You need to double jump of Astromech Hover across the gap. Once there, the first alcove on your left has a Minikit in it. Also, the barriers on the edge here are also destructible. On the right is a platform with a grapple point on it that you can use an Astromech Droid to get to. Grapple up, and then use a short character to get to the Minikit above the doorway. Room 02: --------- This is the Shield generator area, where you helped Ben out in Story mode. Take out the squad, and use the Force on the machinery, to make the bridge over in Area 00, section 00. Pull all three levers to turn it off, and make a Minikit appear above it. Grapple up and collect it. Room 03: --------- Use the Force on the door at the far end to open it once you do that, you also make two platforms you can jump on to get a Minikit. The doorway leads to Area 03, room 01. There's also a door on the left that you can destroy the catch for, that then leads to Area 02, room 03. You should have in the region of around 90,000 Studs as a basic starting point, in Story mode, and 119,000 Studs if you clear out the level in Free Play. ! True Jedi status in Story Mode is 60,000 Studs. This can be very tight, as there's a lot of troopers to whittle down your lives (and studs). ! True Jedi Status in Free Play at 80,000 Studs. Can be a little tight. Don't forget about the TIE fighter shooting range. ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### 02.05 Episode IV Chapter 05: Death Star Escape [MS0405] ------------------------------------------------------------------- CHECKLIST =============================================================================== []Story Mode Complete []Story Mode True Jedi status (55,000) []Free Play Mode True Jedi Status (65,000) ## Minikits---(Y-Wing)--------------------------------------------------------- [] Area 02, Room 02 [] Area 04, Room 01 [] Area 04, Room 02 To get this, you need to find three Purple Grape Blocks: [] Area 04, Room 01 [] Area 04, Room 02 [] Area 04, Room 02 [] Area 05, Room 01 [] Area 01, Room 03 (Bounty Hunter) [] Area 02, Room 01 (Small) [] Area 03, Room 01 (Sith) [] Area 03, Room 02 (Jedi/Sith) [] Area 04, Room 04 (Jedi/Sith) [] Area 05, Room 01 (Bounty Hunter) ## Power Up Brick #04-(Invincibility)------------------------------------------ []Area 01, Room 02.01 ## Characters Unlocked--------------------------------------------------------- None ## Characters available to buy------------------------------------------------- [] Grand Moff Tarkin (38,000) Area 01: =============================================================================== Room 01: --------- Collect the scant few studs, and then build the Lego into a platform so you can get to the door. Room 02: --------- There's a Protocol Droid door to your left for free play, and the far door open when you go near them to let two Stormtroopers charge at you. The only thing here to shoot for studs is the two pipes, so get them before moving on. Room 02.01: ------------ After opening the door with a Protocol Droid, switch to a Force user, and build the pile of grey bricks into a chest. Use the Force to open it, and collect the Power Brick (Invincibility) inside. It's only a shame you can't turn it on right away... You can also build and Force activate a gas vent here. Room 03: --------- It's 'C' shaped corridor, that again, only has a few pipes in it for studs. There are three Troopers, along with a Officer and a TIE pilot to deal with. It does, oddly, have a Bounty Hunter destroyable section (which reveals a Minikit when destroyed), and a Stormtrooper Helmet dispenser. It's best to come back for one in a minute, though. Trust me. Area 02: =============================================================================== Room 01: --------- It's a very big room with several puzzles that you need to solve before getting out. For now, simply jump to the lowest section and take out the large force of (twelve) Troopers. Clean the room of Crates and such, before pushing the grey and blue platform into position next to the green and red machinery. Next, push the green side clockwise, to raise up the platform a little. Then grapple up to the platform you were on when you entered the room. The switch on the far wall operates the grapple point. Use it twice to be able to get the blue stud and friends on the central platform, then a third time to have it where you actually need it. Swing across, and pull the lever on the far wall to have a bomb appear. Push this all the way back, and off the edge, and then climb down the newly created hole to the floor waxer. There's a crawl space here that leads to a Minikit in Free play. Drive the waxer out of there, and over the red flashing lights to extend the bridge. Now it's time to go back and get that Stormtrooper helmet, so you can open the door onward. Don't forget to shoot the yellow and red panels on the left wall for quite a few studs. Room 02: --------- It's a room where there are two Stormtroopers cleaning the window. You can sneak past the three troopers and the commander here, but to exit this room, you have to build a Lego panel, and pull a lever, which alerts them to you anyway. make the most of your surprise attack, and try no to loose that white helmet. You can shoot out two of the wall panels for studs, and there's a silver section that can be destroyed with a Thermal Detonator, in free play, which reveals a grapple point, leading to a crawl space, for two blue studs. For now, hop in the crane, and manoeuvre the Troopers so they clean every inch of the window. This, oddly, breaks the window, and reveals a Minikit (the two troopers also attack). Room 03: --------- A tiny room. Be ready for the two troopers here, then pull the levers to open the door. Leave the block for now, but be ready for another fight. Room 04: --------- There's an Imperial Officer and two Death Star Troopers here, so be careful. Once they are out of the way, push the block from Room 3 through into here, and slot it in to the machine to fix the lever. Pull the lever, and the door forwards opens. Area 03: =============================================================================== Room 01: --------- Suddenly, there's lots of studs. Take out everything, watching for the two Stormtroopers and Officer who come running around the corner. There's a Sith Panel here, which grants you a Minikit in Free Play. Room 02: --------- It's got another Helmet dispenser, and re-spawning enemies. you need to make it to the top tier, with a helmet, without taking a hit. Good luck, it's one of the few frustrating bits in the whole game. To get across the gap, pull one of the three levers, and then jump on the moving fan blade. Shoot as many troopers as you can, and make your way up to the first level. Pull the lever to pop out some Lego pieces, and jump back down to build them, fixing the lift. Grapple back up to where you just were, and use the lift to get to the helmet machine. Thin out the Troopers so you've only got two spawning after a slight delay, and swap characters so everyone gets a helmet, take control of Chewie, then just get back on the lift to the top most part, and open the Imperial door. Remember: Deep breaths and stay calm. There's also a Minikit in the top most corner that needs a Force user to free it. This can be tricky, as it takes a while to use the Force on it. The best way is half do it, then quickly jump into the not-finished piece before going back to finishing it - the resulting half done Lego shields you from attack. Room 03: -------- A very quite corridor. The best thing to do is to just walk past - you don't need the agro. Collect al the free studs lying about, and leave. In free play, no mater how well, you've played it, however, they always seem to be wise to you, so be ready to fight the four Troopers and two TIE pilots. Room 04: --------- It's another, perhaps, the single greatest source of frustration in the entire game. Took me ages to do this bit without dying, and keeping the helmet. As soon as you enter, pull the lever to shut the door. Take out as many of the distant four troopers shooting at you as you can. The door behind you will re-open periodically, and the closest two Troopers (normally TIE pilots to boot) Will re-spawn until you get to the platform they are stood on. Use the other characters for shields while you build the grapple point, remembering to build it bit by bit - if you hold down the build button, if you take a hit, you'll have to start from scratch - if you tap the build button, it's slower, but means you can pick up from where you left off if you get hit. Then swing across, taking out all the opposition, including the hard to hit pair in the top corner (these two will always be there, since you can't get to that platform). The alcove behind the second grapple point leads to a helmet dispenser, so at least you don't have to backtrack. Area 04: =============================================================================== Room 01: --------- A series of corridors. Shoot everything, even the device in the corner, to move on. There's a purple grape block hidden here, get another two to get the Minikit in Area 04, room 02. Also, if you walk into the camera in this room, you can see a Minikit just to the left. It's quite easy to just jump over and get it. Room 02: --------- Same again. The other two Purple Grape Blocks are here, so get them and pick up the Minikit, before moving on. Room 03: --------- One last corridor before the big room. Have you noticed that you're basically chasing a Stormtrooper? Remember how that bit ended in the film? No, not the original, the special edition... Room 04: --------- Welcome to the biggest single blaster battle you're going to have in this game. There are Stormtroopers ( of them!) here, and you need to take all of them out. More troopers will be piling in from the two side doors, but ignore them, and take out the three troopers up high to the back of the room. Now close the two doors, by pulling the levers, and get to work building the big pile of bricks at the back of the room, pausing to re-close the doors as necessary. Once you've finished, shoot your handy work to reveal the door onwards. The two doors will re-open if you take too long, but once you've finished building, the Troopers stop Spawning. The Minikit can only be collected in Free Mode, after using the Force to stack two blocks on top of one another. Area 05: =============================================================================== Room 01: --------- This is one large, central room, the last room of this level, and you can see Obi Wan duelling with Vader in a closed room to the top. There are a few things you need to do here, and you will keep being interrupted by waves of Stormtroopers. You should also hit True Jedi Status here. The quickest way to get through is to pause and deal with them. Seriously, it doesn't feel like it, but it is. You can take some short cuts in Free Play, but in Story, you're best off just plugging through. First, pull the lever nearest the door, which opens up an air vent. Leave it for now, and run right around the force field shielded pit, to the other side of the room. Jump up and push the block to the right, it breaks open to reveal a grapple point. Make it, and use it, taking out the three troopers up there (this will make the coming fire fights a bit easier!), before pulling the lever. The Falcon will raise up once, and Stormtroopers will start appearing. Every time you raise the Falcon (four times in all), a wave of twenty troopers will appear. Take out the wave, then assemble the blue Lego piece on the right wall, opening it to free the droids, and reveal a Minikit. Take control of R2, and have him use the panel on the left wall near the small pit. Get in the newly arrived floor waxer, and drive it over the red lights. It might take a couple of goes, as it's harder to line up than the last one. Once that's done, the Falcon rises up another section, and another wave of 20 Troopers descends. Once you've dealt with them, control R2 again, and have him operate the Astromech panel on the furthest wall, right side. The Falcon rises a bit more, and another twenty Stormtroopers. Then take control of C-3PO, and stand on the vent of air you freed as soon as you entered the room. You can get to the platform above the door by shooting the wall near it, which loosens a platform. Now the Falcon is finally free, deal with the final wave of troopers, and you can escape! Don't worry about the Imperial door in the lower left, you can’t do anything with the room's contents until Free play. In Free Play, open it to reveal some silver Lego pieces, assemble them into a cup, and blow it up with a Thermal detonator for studs. You can also get that last Minikit, by opening the door, on the far wall (raised platform), again, with a Bounty Hunter - although this also frees Vader, so you'd best be ready for a fight. He doesn't have a heart meter, but he does take four solid hits to kill. You should have in the region of around 60,000 Studs as a basic starting point, in Story mode, and a meagre 75,000 Studs if you clear out the level in Free Play. ! True Jedi status in Story Mode is 55,000 Studs. This can be very tight, as there's even more troopers than last time to whittle down your lives (and studs). Don't fight toe to toe with anyone - use the guide, I've spelled out where the trouble spots are - and plan accordingly. Remember not to clear out the two main combat rooms of crates until the fighting is over, that way you can always dip to the crates mid-fight, should you find your heart meter getting low. ! True Jedi Status in Free Play at 65,000 Studs. Again, can be close if you die a lot. Concentrate on clean distance kills. ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### 02.06 Episode IV Chapter 06: Rebel Attack [MS0406] ------------------------------------------------------------------- And here we are at the first of four dedicated flying levels. It takes a little while to get used to the controls, it's quite a bit different from the first Lego Star Wars. For Free play, buy the TIE Interceptor as soon as possible, it's as simple as that. You just can't go wrong with the Interceptor. There's no TIE Fighters or Flak cannons. Soot anything with a blue stripe on it for studs, and practice a bit with the A button - it makes you loop the loop if you hold left/right, or barrel roll if you don't hold any direction - and you're going to need to do both to make it through here alive! Fly over the purple cone tower to pick up a torpedo. The X Wing can carry three at once, so always collect three at a time. Then fly over the highlighted target and press B to launch the torpedo. Once it's destroyed, it lowers the force field, and you can carry on. Area 02: =============================================================================== In this second section, over to the left, is a green and red push mechanism. Fly over it to raise it up, and then shoot the green fins to reveal a Minikit. Don't forget to keep shooting anything blue, although now there are TIE fighters and Flak cannons to watch out for too. Follow the right hand wall up, and just before the group of four purple targets is an alcove with a Minikit. You should find it ok, if you're shooting all the blue sections. Across the way from here, on the left wall, is a section that needs a TIE Fighter in Free play to open it. Once you do, simply hit the target with a torpedo to bag the Minikit. Take out the four Purple Targets, and shoot the barriers at a safe distance (the explosion can kill you) before continuing. Area 03: =============================================================================== Quite shortly into this section, you should hit true Jedi Status in Story Mode, and a little further in the same section in Free Play. Hugging the left hand wall brings you to a Torpedo tower, and a TIE gate. Just after the gate, is another Green and Red turning mechanism. Raise it for a Minikit. This area is much the same as the last, except you now have to destroy two groups of four targets to be able to shoot the gate out. Concentrate on killing both TIE Fighter spawning tubes, it won't eradicate them completely, but it will greatly thin them out for you. On the wall, right up near the top, on the right hand side, is a TIE fighter only gate In free play, enter it and fly over all the buttons to light them up green. Do it quickly enough, and you will unlock the Minikit. The best route is to start in the bottom left, and slalom you way to the Minikit. It is quite an unforgiving timer, but one or two practice runs should help. Be sure to really cut the corner after the fourth button, the timer is tight, but the collision detection on the buttons does seem a little more relaxed. Just next to it, is an alcove with a Minikit in it. A little further down the same wall is another TIE fighter gate, and next to this is the first group of four targets. Take out three of them, then head left a little to see another Torpedo tower. top up, bag the last target, and then head to the very top most left corner of the next group of four. There's a Torpedo tower just right of the targets, and once you've got all four, shoot the gate to enter the penultimate area. The TIE gates on the right lead to a Minikit, but you need to unlock the Snowspeeder before trying to get it. Once you have the Speeder, tow a bomb from the lower TIE gate to the higher one, and hit the left or right target with it, returning with another bomb for the other one, and dropping the shield on the Minikit. Area 04: =============================================================================== More of the same. You've got another two groups of four targets to destroy, the only real difference here is there are a lot more Flak cannons and TIE's to deal with as well. It's best to tightly circle your targets, making your shots count. In the left hand corner as you enter, there is another Green and Red mechanism to reveal and use for a Minikit. Once all the targets are down, get three torpedoes, and shoot the gate to move on. As soon as you get through the gate, shoot out the blue section on the left hand wall for a Minikit - remember to get it before you enter the trench. Area 05: =============================================================================== Right behind where you start is a Torpedo Tower. I wouldn't worry about it, though, as you're about to have Vader and two TIE's right up your backside. You can, if you like, flip backwards, then forwards, and take out both of Vader's wingmen, which does make the next bit a little easier. Personally, it's a bit risky, and you can make it by just dodging all the way to the exhaust port. Shoot constantly, and fly erratically, is my advice. Worked for me. Area 06: =============================================================================== The exhaust port. First order of business is to take out the guns guarding it. There are three groups of four, and the best way to deal with them is to fly a tight circle over one group at a time. Your first pass will reveal them, and then you can shoot them. Do it quickly enough and they won't get a shot in at you. Once all three groups are destroyed, the Exhaust port shield is removed. Don't fire those torpedo's yet, however - in the top left is one more Green and Red mechanism to get a Minikit, and there is a hidden alcove, in the topmost right corner, with this level's Power Brick in it. Get them both before toasting the Death Star! You should have in the region of around 55,000 Studs as a basic starting point, in Story mode, and 60,000 Studs if you clear out the level in Free Play. Not much in it, eh? ! True Jedi status in Story Mode is 20,000 Studs, nice and easy. ! True Jedi Status in Free Play at 30,000 Studs. ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 05.01 [MS0501] Work in progress. ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 05.02 [MS0502] Work in progress. ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 05.03 [MS0503] Work in progress. ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 05.04 [MS0504] Work in progress. ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 05.05 [MS0505] Work in progress. ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 05.06 [MS0506] Work in progress. ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 06.01 [MS0601] Coming soon ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 06.02 [MS0602] Coming soon ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 06.03 [MS0603] Coming soon ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 06.04 [MS0604] Coming soon ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 06.05 [MS0605] Coming soon ############################################################################### 02.01 Episode 06.06 [MS0606] Coming soon ############################################################################### 03.00 Bounty Hunter Challenges [BHCHAL] Coming soon ############################################################################### 04.00 Bonus Levels & LEGO City [BSLVLC] Coming soon ############################################################################### 05.00 Achievement guide [ACHVMT] Coming soon ############################################################################### 06.00 Unlockables, Secrets & 100% [UNSEOP] Coming soon ############################################################################### 07.00 Credits and Thanks [CRDNTX] ###############################################################################
