Introduction [000] ============================================================================== Hello guys and gals, welcome to my guide to Monster Dash; I created this to help you out and understand what the game is and how to be good at it. ============================================================================== I. Controls [002] ============================================================================== So there are 2 controls for the game; [1] Left side is to jump Barry. You can choose how high Barry can jump by tapping lightly for a small jump or tapping and holding for a higher jump [2] Right side is to use Barry's weapon ============================================================================== III. Object of the game [003] ============================================================================== The point of the game is go as far as you can before you die by spikes, enemies or falling in the gap. Pretty much this game is like a 1-4 minute game, but is highly addicting as you want to best your best each time. ============================================================================== IV. Map Types [004] ============================================================================== So there are 5 different map types with each with their unique environment; there are 4 things in each map type and they are type of enemy, location of map, type of spikes and enemy pop up ============= DEMON DYNASTY ============= - Demon enemies - Takes place on the Great Wall of China - Spear Spikes - Pop up from ground ========= TOMB TOWN ========= - Mummy enemies - Takes place in Egypt - Wood Spikes - They drop straight down =============== VAMPIRE KINGDOM =============== - Vampire enemies - Takes place in Transylvania - Stake Spikes - They drop down at a 105 degree angle ============ YETI HEIGHTS ============ - The Abominable Snowman - Lets say it’s in the Himalaya Mountains - Icicle Spikes - They climb up from the mountain and pop up from the snow ================= ZOMBIE METROPOLIS ================= - Zombie enemies - Takes place in Japan - Bone Spikes - They pop up from the ground ============================================================================== V. Weapons/Power-ups [005] ============================================================================== So there are 6 weapons and 2 power ups The 6 weapons are; ======= SHOTGUN ======= - This is Barry’s default weapon which is pretty standard for him for kicking ass - Has a short range and is a pump action type but it is fairly quick =============== JETPACK MINIGUN =============== - You get 120 shots with this but every time you use it costs 10 bullets and drains ammo if held down quickly - This is probably the best weapon to have as it can kill as well as get you out of tight spots ======== MR.ZAPPY ======== - A taser with a lot more juice, this has 150 shots and uses 10 each time fired - This is useful since it has a nice long range with lots of ammo =============== ROCKET LAUNCHER =============== - Of course, what else do I have to explain about this, you just fire and KABOOM, bye bye - This has 12 shots and will only stop till it hits an enemy, a wall or goes off screen === SMG === - A 3 round burst gun that is useful since its fast and nice accuracy - This has 60 shots with each burst costing 3 shots ============ THE PACIFIER ============ - This is a revolver with of course 6 shots - This is extremely powerful as it goes across the whole screen and mow down any enemy in its path. Here are the 2 power-ups; ========== BADASS HOG ========== - Why walk when you can drive, this baby will mow down any enemy as you are invincible as well as you can drive over spikes, just be careful that you can still fall off ===== HEART ===== - The heart is the most valuable thing to have in the game as you only start off with 3 but will restore a lost heart if missing one - If you are not hurt and collect a heart will gain a another increasing your maximum life ============================================================================== VI.
