cant get pass d guards after Gao's Treas

for Jade Empire Special Edition for PC: Please help! cant get pass d guards after Gao's Treasure chamber above Kang the inventors workshop on Bandit island to get a Dragonfly. I think d problem is; I went to Bandits island on Ru's boat before i finished the mission at the Ruins and closed the dam. Should i just re-load the Saved game after the Forest mission? Does anyone out there have a saved game after the Bandit island to get a new flyer mission?
