So it's been a while, miss me a little bit?

Yea nah me neither

However, I have been gaming - which seems relevant on a site such as this

Mainly these games:
Planetside 2
Mount & Blade 1257 mod
Pokemon Soul Silver

That's right, living the dream fellas. Living it.

Work has been crazy busy which taps into my awesome computering skills and lessens my gaming skills due to fatigue.

But still rockin' it with my gaming mates, should see if when 8 of us jump on Planetside and fly around in a fully gunned and upgraded galaxy... it's a beautiful disaster, we can't aim for peanuts

Was thinking of getting a shotfun for my NC character but still deciding which shotty - narrowed it down to the sweeper and piston, it's a close call.

Mount and blade has been fun, the 1257 AD mod makes it a huge game with 5 x more enemies to conquer (maybe more) and stronger opponents meaning I can be taken out in one hit if I'm not careful, which sometimes I'm not surprisingly.

Also been re-watching both seasons of The Flight of the Conchords as the video clips might suggest, they are awesome.

At work been hanging out with this cool chick who always takes her lunch with me so we can do an epic walk around the lagoon and get some exercise, which is cool otherwise I'd sit there playing pokemon on my DS in our lunch room on these weird fancy stylish uncomfortable square sofa seats.

So that's a slice of life at the moment, hope you're all striving to be as awesome.

So despite my rage at War of the Roses, now my mates and I have learned acceptance, we now run around in light armour stabbing heavies in the back and chasing down defenceless archers and generally avoiding direct confrontation. It's the cowards way, but it works and is very funny

I have gotten the hang of Bad Company 2 finally so getting positive K/Ds and plenty of contribution to the team/squad and even get called a hacker from time to time due to some of the sniping shots I do (such as when you can only see someone's foot, and you hit it and kill them )

I am now trying to figure out how to update my Battlefield 3 without having to download the 20gb or so of updates... might have to get a mate to copy me the files or something. Then I'll try and get into that in preparation for BF4 and BC3 when they come out.

I have recently watched season 1 and 2 of ADVENTURE TIIIIIME!!!

I really, really liked War of the Roses when it came out.

Finally a multiplayer game I could get the hang of and play with my mates (I'm hopeless at FPS).

The combat was fair, almost everything was balanced, a few tweaks and it could have been perfect.

Now after about the 100th update it is an unrecognisable steaming pile of horse****.

- Oh an update... damn, my favourite weapon has been nerfed.
- Hmm I'll try this other weapon and adapt my style.
- Many non-fun games and deaths later I get the hang of it again.
- Resume game enjoyment.
- Oh an update... damn, my favourite weapon has been nerfed....

Over and over again.

Well **** that, they can stick their new swords up their asses.

To top it all off, the plentiful in game coin you could earn to buy cool customisations can now be purchased with real money, so you guessed it, everything is more expensive, and the rate you generate coin is slower. This also means new weapons are hard to come by, so if your favourite weapon is nerfed, getting a replacement is that much harder.

Greedy slimy pricks, lucky they're based overseas or I'd be at their HQ right now strangling a refund out of some poor idiot.

Online gaming that is

Mainly because of all the noobs. They really need a super strict ban system for games, and moderators to monitor in-game chat with a way to report people to get their attention. I have the right to enjoy what I paid for without some arsehole ruining it with immature T-bagging and insults written in the worst English I have seen anywhere.

After a long stressful day at work I just need to chill, not deal with bull****. I don't hack, I don't insult people, I don't do anything to provoke but play the game. It's simply insane. How are people raised to be such pricks? It's mind boggling.

Anyway I think I'll stick to Skyrim and other single player epics in the future, I really enjoy those.

So I go get a cheeseburger and drink from the fridge

Then I think "actually I am not thirsty" and put the drink back

I walk miles down the other side of the house and eat the burger

Then think "Wish I had a drink to wash that down"

In other news I have stopped playing Planetside 2 as have all my friends

While it was fun to start with, it is insanely repetitive.

But apparently they will be releasing new stuff soon so we'll see.

I've played through the Dawnguard expansion on Skyrim too which was awesome, although the characters were pretty boring, and the 'vampire lord' a piece of cake... I also found the Soul Cairn boring as hell (see what I did there?) so I guess it was awesome for the armour and crossbows?

I downloaded Oblivion + expansions the other day and have started playing it, it seems cool but I am having a hard time with the lock picking I'm pretty tempted to cheat... plus the way the character moves when in 3rd person view is a little odd, so that takes some of the fun out of combat, but we'll see how it goes

I am also playing a lot of Bad Company 2 with a couple of mates, it seems to be a lot more fun than BF3 for some reason, plus I'm not doing too badly considering my ineptitude for FPS games

I do get frustrated on hardcore mode though as all the advantage seems to be with snipers which is not my cup of tea :/

But thankfully the main guy I play with is rather good at sniping (good enough to get called a hacker frequently) so that's a bonus

I have decided to spend a lot more time gaming and also cull some 'friends' from my life who were pretty bad for me so hopefully you'll see me on here more posting and stuff
