An Update On What I've Been Up To posted 2/19/2013 4:14:13 AM
I know I've been pretty inactive for about a year or so, so I thought I might update those of you that are interested in my life for whatever reason.
I studied abroad in Australia for almost 5 months and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I definitely made the most of my time there and I even got to spend a week in the "Outback" (Aussies call it The Bush) with Aboriginal people. They were awesome and it was cool to be able to say I've done that!
I also visited New Zealand for a couple of days before I went home. I only got to visit Auckland, though. Shibby assured me that Auckland is a poor representation of New Zealand, but I enjoyed the visit anyway!
Now, I'm in my final semester of my undergraduate education! Yay! I will be graduating in May with a Bachelor in Business for Marketing and Sustainability with a minor in Music. I also recently found out that I am in the top 10% of my graduating class!
My future plans involve law school, but I am not sure where I am going yet. Hopefully somewhere near Washington DC so I can pursue a career in government and politics.
And for those of you that are wondering, I can't find the Men Are Like calenders anymore, so I think they might've stopped making them. Which makes me incredibly sad.
It's been a while! I thought I'd swing by here and see what's been going on these days. There are a lot of members that I don't recognize. And rainbow stars everywhere! Was I really gone for that long?
I know it's late, but I've been moving back into my house for the summer since I got out of school and just put my calendar back up today. Yay. So here we go...
