All we are is all we know posted 9/11/2013 3:00:04 AM
Do you know who you are? Do you know what you want? Every aspect of our identity has been expertly crafted for us by teams of advertisers. Who we think we are, what we have to aspire to be.. see this shiny stuff? Yes, seek it out! The more you have the better a human being you are. Why can't we just admit that capitalism is ****ing ridiculous. It's changing us from human beings into to self obsessed narastic hoarders. What they are doing is putting a price on this planets resources and dangling it out in front of us. Here you go be a good little cog. All this stuff will make you feel better. Do you want to know why? Because you will be better than so many of the other cogs with less shiny stuff... All you need to be is the top cog. Let's not stop and Ponder at what the machine is doing. I'm sure someone out there knows how to work it.
"Day to night, dark to light, fall the sands of time. Let the years, like the gears of a clock unwind. In your mind walk through time back to better days. Memories, like a dream, wash tears away. Like a star in the sky, darkness can't reach you. Light the night, joy is light, till the new dawn. Cast away your old face, let go of spite. With this mask I'll ask to borrow your light"
Some times I lie awake and think I shouldn't be here. I think of the astronomical chain of events that had to transpire in order for the atoms that compose my brain to have merged together. I imagine if a million years ago, if a caveman had taken a **** 1 second earlier, the infinitesimally delicate chain of events needed for my existence would never of transpired. In almost every probable outcome, I don't exist. Yet hear I sit. An assembly of astronomical odds dwelling upon it's own existence. I shouldn't be here yet still...here... I... sit. My own existence in the face of nigh impossible odds would imply that every possible reality exists simultaneously. I exist because I "can" exist. But I am merely one snowflake in the infinite storm. Each snowflake entirely a composite of it's environment. A part the ever evolving symbiosis between the self and the external. Unique and and distinct in it's own right. We are all connected yet we live and die alone. Nuances in the big blog of everything. Brain cells seeking to full fill there own existence. Unaware, unable to comprehend the greater synergy of conscious that exists in the universe.
