Borderlands 2 is the second Borderlands game developed by Gearbox Software. Just like the first Borderlands game, you play as one of the five available Vault Hunters, completing central quests, as well as a ton of other optional side quests as you try to take down Handsome Jack, who is the CEO of the Hyperion Corporation. This game keeps a lot of the key features from the first game. Elements such as, randomly generated loot, and the ability to play with up to 3 other players cooperatively. This game also adds a few new small, but neat, elements to the game as well, such as no fall damage, and the ability to customize your character with skins that you find/earn throughout the game. This game is a great addition to the Borderlands series, and is tons of fun to play. I played the initial campaign for hours on end for the first week I had it, and spent even more than usual once the expansions were released. This game is definitely worth the money, especially with the expansion packs, which add a whole other campaign to the game, that usually take place in it own little section of Pandora, and add a lot more time to the overall playtime of the game. Borderlands 2 is definitely a game I would recommend if you were a fan of the first game, and even if you never played the first game, I would still recommend you at least rent the game, and experience all it has to over.
