DMC Devil May Cry? Like all the Devil May Cry games it is a hack and slash beat 'em up game as you fight your way through the hordes of demons while also going through cutscenes. In the game you gather Keys, fight demons, set free lost souls and so on. While this is a lot to do, it gets frustrating quite fast and can annoy you unless you prefer to replay through the same mission to get the perfect score.Good The story - The story makes the game interesting and is fun to watch due to the cutscenes. The story is based on a young Dante and Virgil. Dante, who finds out that Virgil is his brother, aids him in defeating Mundus the Demon Lord The story following Dante has its funny moments. While going through the stor,y you will notice a change in Dante. His hair becomes more white and at the end it becomes completely white. The change is explained in the story. Abilities - While getting a good score is nice, the abilities make it better. Using the same weapon repeatedly lowers your score at the end of the mission. Dante has over 9 weapons to choose from (2 not being actual weapons but can still be used in battle). Dante also has the ability to use Devil Trigger, a mode that sends all enemies flying into the air and keeping them there for a limited amount of time (pretty much until the bar runs out or unless you cancel it) Modes - the game offers five to six modes. Devil May Cry, Son of Sparta, Dante Must Die, Heaven or Hell, Hell and Hell While unlocking these modes unlocks new things like skins, some of them aren't that easy. Heaven or hell mode is a 1-hit KO mode Dante and all the other demons will all get killed in one hit. In Hell and Hell, Dante gets killed in one hit while the demons don't, which is even more frustrating but also more rewarding when you finish it. Bad The Doors - the doors are frustrating to complete and aren't exactly needed as you can buy the health upgrades in the shop. Some doors require you to kill demons in a certain area or with a certain weapon while gathering the keys to open the doors is needed. It's a complete waste of time and can just make you angry. Despite the doors, this game is a must play, especially for the Devil May Cry fans.
