Well i purchased this game about 2 days ago. I installed it on that day and only got a little bit into the character creation before i decided to go to bed, anyways, i slept out last night and came back today hoping to play on this new game. Only to discover that the disc i had left in my laptop is now missing. All of my house members say they haven't moved it, or so much as opened the disc drive, this however must be impossible? unless this is so good of a game it jumps out of your computer and runs off. Anyway I've spent the last few hours looking and looking for the disc.. No luck. Like I said I already have it activated, installed and registered to my account. How can I play without the disc? I read that if you enter the serial number into the download manager it downloads the game. But all i get is the game lauch coming up and still asking me to insert the disc.
Since I haven't actually played on this game at all, I'm pretty
Well you could use a NO-CD fixed EXE, I have a few Collectors Edition games on disk, and I use NOCD's to save having to get my rare disks out all the time and risk damaging them. I've also taken an image of each of my CE disks and stored them on my hard drive to install if and when, so now I don't even have to take them out the shelf. So to fix your problem of game not starting - a NOCD fixed EXE, I think I've seen a few members and mods mention gameburnworld or gamecopyworld, i forget which, but both are good.
As for the mystery of the missing disk - how opposed are you to confrontation? I'd personally demand all of them go into one room, throw up a fuss and get really angry until somebody coughs the truth. But that's just me.
I'll try that, so is there like any restrictions to using online features with the NOCD stuff? and isit hard to download? (am i gonna need alot of stuff to unlock the files and or time?)
And Confrontation.. hmm I've already done that, for each one,but they all seem to deny it. But they all have looked for it. I really dont know :| Nobody has any reason to open up a disk drive in my house, and that's what I'm baffled about.
