An option for FOOD would be nice...

You guys must love all these, what, 4 or 5 patches in the first 3 days of release....

Now, now, PWizard - no need to get all misty about the old days on us... do what the technical world does in general, and just blame marketing for being impossibly stupid.

What, there's another hotfix? Why, golldurnit, back in the ol' days, we used to use something called 'floppy discs', these 5.25" shingles of plastic. But when we built a game, it was golldurn DONE!!! *wags cane*

I think it is part of their anti-piracy effort. In theory, you have to register the game to get updates. So they release an unfinished beta product, and patch it up to usable.

A very poor idea, but one they seem to have adopted.

Actually, I think the release has been timed to try and fit between:
a.) Starcraft II
b.) Civilization 5

Elemental would have died a quiet death if it had been released at the same time as either of these titles.

I have to agree, Food would be EXTREMELY nice.

1.07 is planned to be released next week so that's some days off until the next update at least, supposedly meant to fix the bad performance with multiple larger cities on the map and some other stuff but atleast it's not rushed out like these other updates.
(1.01 to fix some early issues with the pre-released version, 1.05 to update the release version and then a hotfix for that to fix some missed problems but 1.06 was then released shortly afterwards as more problems were found but also required a hotfix and then requires a new game to fully work, at least the problems and issues are being sorted but it'll probably be a few more frequent patches, nice with support though I can imagine the trainer updating must be difficult with all these updates so frequently.)

if people will post a save game where you HAVE some food then it would help=
