I know the Feedback & Complaints board, this wasn't feedback or a complaint. I thought the most suitable place for it would be in General?

Since you need help with something, that board would have been best
GD only works for help with off-site things.

Hmm, fair point. Oh well too late now, I'm not about to repost the same thing on a second board. No point having the same thing in two different places.

becoming an author is quite simple. you will be an author and an unl.member at the same time. i.e. i can switch my rank from sage to author or to unl.member. so just to clear up any confusion, any previous membership status will not interfere with becoming an author.
now then, when you complete your guide/ faq/ walkthrouh, all you need to do is /authors_signup.asp>click here, fill out the form, and the rest is in the hands of the founders.(use the same alias and password as your current alias and password)
