Trainer still not working for me. I have the retail version of the game. I have patched the game to v1.6.2 there trainer works great for me.. for about 30 seconds.. then it freeze. I have turn off AV, firewall and everything.
getting kinda mad..I purchased the retail because the digital version wasn't working.. now the retail isn't.
The 1.06.02 train has issues with the game. The game locks up and freeze within about 30s after u hit f1 to activate the trainer. You don't even need to cheat at anything. Just having it run will crash the game.
And why is the trainer loading a bunch of ffdshow icons in my system tray?
I have a hex editor and can quickly edit MOST things out of the save file. For some reason. I cant find the movement count for each character. Most of the save file is standard text and values are EASILY found, but I can't seem to edit the save file to give someone 99 or 999 movement
I was able to use Cheat Engine 5.5 to track down movement in memory and froze the value
I also was able to track down a few other values and save where they were and lock/freeze them.
The game doesn't seem to mind Cheat Engine poking around and changing/freezing it's data....
.. but something about this trainer.. the game does NOT like. Normally, I usually never speak up, but being a paying member of the site, I feel when a trainer isn't working like it should, I should say something.
Since I can pretty much use cheat engine (after a few hrs of locating things and saving where they are in memory), and use CE to duplicate the trainer.. it seems to me the game crash/freezing has something to do with how the trainer is poking around and changing the game's data in memory.
We've found a game Cheat Happens can't make a trainer for.
Still, not bad when considering all the games they have been able to build trainers for.
EDIT: I just wanted to add that this trainer does somewhat work for me on my Vista 32 bit run as admin.
I am able to edit the main hero's stats usually I can raise a stat 10 points, then save, game freezes, ctrl-alt-delete my way back out, restart the trainer, start game, load save, change stat, save, game freezes ... rinse and repeat as needed. This techniques also works on resourses.
