Mount & Blade: Warband Message Board  

So surfing around the net for mods and stuff I ran across this awesome Developer's cheat, that most people (as far as I've Seen) have not noticed/mentioned.

Simply follow these instructions, this works to change your Banner as well (how i originally found it.)

1.Press Ctrl + ~ on the world map and a console should open up.
2.Type "cheatmenu" without the quotation marks and press enter. This will make many cheat options become available.
3. Go under Camp and choose the option to "Take an action". Then choose "CHEAT: Modify your banner". Pick your desired banner.
Through this method, you will now have a new banner of your choice.


If for whatever reason you want to turn this off, just do this:

Press Ctrl + ~ on the world map again and instead type "nocheatmenu", disabling all the debug messages and cheat options across the game.

ENJOY!!!

P.S: Make sure you type the cheatmenu commands without quotation marks and without capital letters. They're case sensitive.

Whoa, NICE

This sounds interesting... but how do you see the cheat commands? I put in the cheatmenu in the console, and I can see some debugging type info when I talk to an NPC, but no sign of any actual cheats. And what do you mean "go under camp"?

Sorry for being a complete noob... just bought the game today and have played about 5 minutes, lol. Thanks for any help in advance!


EDIT: OK, from the world map. I see. I still have one question though: Is there a "God mode" cheat of any kind, that would keep me from taking damage?

export your character,and edit its statistics, then import, or simply use the trainer here.

Thanks. The trainer was not yet updated when I posted that, so it wasn't working. Now that the new one is out, I'm using it and loving it. I'm also using the cheatmenu thing, AND the character export, lol...

But out of curiosity, how would I make my character invincible by using the export function? I can't see a health stat when I export. Am I just missing it?

strength affects hp, if you make it 999999999 or w.e it will pretty much make you invincible, but with the trainer u don't need that.
