I usually go with normal, I usually say I'll play hard after beating it, but I end up not playing it again because I'm bored of it. lol

When I play racing games I just leave it on whatever setting is default.
But with shooters I start on easy since I'm not very good at them so I can learn the levels and get used to the controls and mechanics of the game. I always try to do them on the hardest difficulties after though.

If you asked me this time 2 years ago I would of ashamely with my head down said Easy, but I found lately I'll normally start on Normal, because a) Easy is too easy and b) You normally don't unlock anything playing on Easy.
