i am so confused i have a pichu i just don't know where i am supposed to go to get a notch-eared pichu if someone could help me that would be great. 🤔

Notch-eared Pikachu? What's that? I've heard of it here and there, but I've never actually seen it... curse my ignorance!

to get the notch-eared pichu u need the (event)pikachu colored pichu to be first in ur party and an empty space in it, then go to the ilex forest shrine and the event will start.
