I wouldn't know seeing as I can only speak English. However I did have to try and learn French and German at school. IMO French was harder, as German seemed a lot more simple.
The only thing which throws me of other languages like German and French is that they have genders.

A lot of people say that English is in fact the hardest language to learn out of all. Well, I can't exactly point out to you what the hardest language is since I haven't attempted to learn every one of them. But so far, I think that english is the hardest.
I find that hard to believe. A source would be nice.

I'm not from a welsh-speaking family, but I've learned alone bits and pieces, and it's difficult. A lot of letters make different sounds in welsh, and there's lots of long words. As an example, here is the welsh name for my town: Yr Wyddgrug.
I cannot even figure out a way to write it phonetically, and don't get me started on pronouncing Llangollen...
(Fact: The welsh alphabet lacks an "x". Here, it's a Tacsi if the firm is owned by a welshman)

Hebrew is easy, maybe I say that because it's close to Arabic, I heard Arabic is hard to learn for foreign people, I'd go with Japanese from that list.
