This is my first topic in a long time so feels very odd.

Ok so my problem with this site:

I come on most days, sometimes three or four times a day. I read the interesting blogs, I then search GD. I read through a topic. I then have a point to say or something to add so I start to write a reply. About halfway I give up and just close the page.

I don't know why I do this, I just find it hard to post on this site, not that I don't like it. As I do I have been here many years. Maybe I feel as if my posts would be ignored, but then that would be because I am not a known member.

Oh well whatever the case there you go, that's why I never post if you were wondering. Which I doubt

P.S I thought about giving up on this as well haha

P.S.S or P.P.S (Oh I don't know!) DISCUSS

I feel the same sometimes, but only when I make topics.

When I post I don't really care if someone ignores it or not.

I think the problem lies in your confidence in your posts.

Not being able of finishing something is a symptom of anxiety. I don't know about you but lack concentration of a subject is a syndrome of brain anxiety.
Anyhow, it doesn't matter if anyone read this post or not, point is you've expressed your self in a community.

I used to do the "scratch my comment 3/4ths of the way through" thing a lot when I first joined the site, because I would preview my post and it would look totally retarded. Nowadays, I just go with the flow and trust that what I'm saying comes out the way I want it to.

I think most of the time is that I start of saying one thing and end of somewhere completely different. Like I start of by talking about cheese and end up describing the differences between chalk and water.

I don't think its because I'm anxious as in life I'm normally care free and confident. Maybe I don't really like the idea of a lot of different people reading what I say when I'm not really thinking! haha

I do this sometimes as i feel theres always this pressure to contribute something different or unique to the topic. However whenever i read a post back; i see the way i've articulated myself as a bit nooby for some reason.

Also i would this is the perfect ice breaker, and i hope to see you around the boards a little more.

This happens to me if I'm really tired. I want to post but I just can't bring myself to do it.
