Tell me, how many pokemon are there in this picture? Link
37, by my count. Now, tell me how many of them are not legendary?
3, by my count. That means that out of the 493 pokemon, there are 34 legendary pokemon.
THAT'S WAY TOO MUCH. Legendaries are not so "legendary" if there are a billion of them. That's one legendary for every 14.5 pokemon. Seriously. That's almost two legendaries for every pokemon in the Elite Four.
That's ridiculous. And that's not even counting the three they've already released for the fifth generation, and not to mention the many more they're sure to add on to the ticket.
They do have quite a few legendaries don't they now. Some of them aren't even necessary either, kind of like they are running out of idea's but make them just for the sake of having more legendaries. Honestly I lose track of which pokemon is which now days, but in general it seems most are just remakes of older pokemon.

Well i don't remember much about pokemon. Too tell u the truth this legendary pokemons doesnt even look so fearsome or something. They look boring lol. Btw did pikachu ever evolved? Or he still a baby?
Honestly, the 1st generation of pokemon will always be the best. It really should've stopped there....I think it's just ridiculous that up to this day, they're still creating billions of new pokemon.
If you wanna get really technical, there's only 3 legendaries per generation. Pokemon like Latios, the Regis, Entei and the like aren't technically legendary, though what constitutes a "legendary" pokemon varies depending on who you ask.
So there would be 12 or something by those calculations. 12 out of roughly 500 pokemon isn't a bad split to me.
