I look at it as a luxury to living. There's no waste in such thing. You enjoyed it. You had your time with it and now because they're out dated are waste of money? No, i don't think so. I don't have any console now but number of game i bought(PC) and how many G-cards i changed for better performance, i think it would be a great deal of cash. And i do it if i go again from the beginning.
Don't judge you're self now. Try to think as you have see a new game at the store. Now what?! still wanna buy it or it's waste?

Well only really some of my recent purchases. I have bought around 10 xbox 360 games and only played maybe 3 properly... some are still wrapped in plastic lol. Bit of a waste, but I will sell them off.
Does PC count as a console? If yes then I think I wasted my money on 2/4 of my games.
Why not just say half?
I have probably wasted money on a few titles, but I'm generally quite careful with what games I get. Most of the games I have bought were worth the money.

Last two games I bought were Mass Effect 2 and Borderlands...have yet to beat either of them and don't plan on it either.
I also have Dead Space and Dante's Inferno which were gifts, but yeah have yet to beat them either and don't plan too lol.
Fallout 3 and Halo 3 have been the two games I've been playing over the past few months...

It would be a terrible shame if you don't finish Dead Space and Mass effect 2.
