Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Message Board  

Hi,

Anybody got an idea as to how find out which (patched) version of COD MW2 I have?
I bought this game from the web recently (direct download) and I am trying to use the Trainer for the most recent patch but it just won't work at all. I can't find out which patch I have either...any ideas?

Did you download it from STEAM ? If so , it should have automatically updated itself to the latest patch so the most recent trainer ought to work . The boxed version installs via STEAM and when I installed it it automatically updated itself Have you checked your firewall settings for the game / STEAM / the trainer etc ?

Thanks for the reply. I downloaded it from Direct2Drive and I think it required Steam to install. What should I be looking for the firewall to do?...

You should be looking for the firewall not to block the trainer, so disable it.
