F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin Discussion
Here is my issue:
First was the trojan being detected when unzipping the program. I addressed that issue by adding the exception in AVG. However, when trying to run the trainer I received the following message:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item.
I have noticed that the icon for the trainer is the "generic" looking icon and not the icon with the CH on it. I checked the properties for the application and it didn't show me much.
Attempt to run version 1.04 on my FEAR2 1.05 just crashes the game but the trainer itself unzips fine and executes without problems.
And CH does not have viruses in their releases, so read this page: Link
And the error message you are getting is because AVG is still blocking it from execution.
