Because people generally don't like things that are different.
People strive to resolve tension and awkwardness by blending in with what societal norms of the times are, if someone fundamentally contradicts those norms, then it's harder for that person to resolve that awkwardness and tension. Cognitive dissonance and all that.
Or at least that's what they beat into our heads in communications class... >_>

Haha, this is funny because I heard about this. Even before I saw that article I said, "maybe it's the Dajjal." However, it's not. The Dajjal arrives from an island chained in a mountain...
Nevermind, it says it all there. The same island is where the beast will arrive...but I'll stop going into that.
Sad to see deformities like these. Probably because we pollute the air, contaminate the water, etc. poor baby.
Let me add that all the minor signs in the Islamic religion have been crossed out...now we wait for the major signs. This is why we're keeping our eyes on things.
