As free time has gotten less and less for me, I've found myself hanging out on IRC a lot more than forums for most of the various internet subculture communities I'm involved with.

Which is why we should get one here so I can lurk and reminisce about things like the SSBM tier war...

Comments? Vehement objections?

An "official" IRC chat provided and maintained by Cheat Happens isn't going to happen. You are, however, free to start one maintained by yourself as a mini hangout place though.

I wouldn't object, but it's not something neccessary

Also IRC = Internet relay chat (think facebook)

I've never used IRC in my entire life. I don't even know how that works.

An IRC would be fun, but it would have to be maintained by responsible people and it might even require more than one "room" given the number of members CHU has.

Eh, if anyone else is interested in helping, I don't mind maintaining one in my plentiful free time. I'm not sure where to make one though...

i'm sorry buddy. a noble thought but i'm quite happy with the way things r here at CH. huge and varied community of gamers plus fantastic trainers. what more could i want
