Regarding the Cheats & Hints.

I recently started playing this game again and thought I would try and help out with various cheats for the game I could find.

There's the all access pass (described already under the game)

Create a new profile, and name it "AccessAllAreas". Note: This will cause the intro movie to crash, press escape, and the game will load with everything unlocked.

There is also
Place "ModSystemEnabled = 1" in your preferences file of the root folder of Darwinia.
Start up game and hit escape, there will be a new menu item called MODS.

And you can also do a text edit of the settings file to change behavior of your units. (and the enemy units)

rename the main.dat file to main.rar - extract it into your darwinia directory - this should give you a folder called data.
In this folder is a text file called stats.txt

You can edit this file to change the hit points, speed, and firing rate of units.

I am not sure if you have to start a new game to see the changes.
