Can you people exactly tell us HOW MANY HOURS is it rather than just telling it is to short.

Well, depends on how you play it, either just straight-up shoot and go or search for side/special items or pick-ups also, but in general it doesn't make that big a difference, so well, i'd say about 6 hours so, yeah, it is short for a current generation game being offered at full retail price, especially since it ain't a new engine either, just a tweaked UE3

6 hours for a game seem be normal nowadays...

But who can blame the developers, cause it is very hard to think of something new and then create a game around it that you can play for 10 or more hours.

Because we also start to whine when you play a game for 10 hours and after 6 hours of playing the game gets boring.

So from the developers side of view, its better to make a game that lasts 6 hours and is fun all the way. Then make a game that lasts 10 hours but get boring.

Because when the few few hours of the game sucks you'll say that the whole game sucks.

6 hours was the average length of expansions 2 years ago!

Now it is the average lenght of the original games, which sucks big time IMHO.

I really expect 12-15 hours of gameplay in a FPS game, if it is an RPG, I expect 20+ hours.

But just 4-6 hours feels like a rip-off, which is why there is a big possibility that I will wait for the game to get cheaper (Within 1 year or so) and not pay its full price.

Singularity was always more geared towards multiplayer than single player, same for other latest releases such as Sniper - Ground Warrior etc

That is a good excuse given by game developers for not spending their time on the single player component, cause almost ALL the games are pretty short nowadays!

True that! Case in point, Modern Warfare 2, same old engine, SP campaign was really short, Spec Ops included, and they managed to pull off one of the biggest rip-offs in the gaming industry.
Their answer : "We are looking towards more players enjoying a better experience playing online and making full use of the great multiplayer component we have incorporated"
--What it really means : "We were just too lazy to create a new engine or put too much time into developing a proper single player experience so we decided to put the emphasis on multiplayer and fool everyone"

What has the frigging gaming industry come to!?
Atleast Ubi is still producing good enough games, viz., Assassin's Creed 2, oh wait i forgot about SC:Conviction [ LEAD (Heavily modified Unreal 2.5) pretty good job though ], nvm, bleh ! anyways just my opinion.
