What should I get between the core i5 750 / core i7 860 / phenom II x6 1055. Between those, which would be a good performance/price choice?
I am going to add that I would like to know the answer considering that I want a processor that will do more than 2 years from now before I need to change it again.

The price choice will almost always be with the AMD chip.
When I upgraded back in December, I got the top of the line from AMD, a good mobo and RAM for the price of a middling Intel chip.

Well I just finish reading an article that was saying that the Phenom II x4 955 and 965 where better for gaming than the 1055. It's also a cheaper solution as well to take in consideration.

well..price wise AMD will win no doubt about that and performance wise they're definitely not bad either. Intel chips r way over priced.
