I'm pretty sure the storyline is just like the older ones.
You start out as a rookie in a world full of new Pokemon, ready to grab life by a Tauros' horns. You meet someone, most likely a scientist, who gives you a Pokemon as a neighborly gift. You find yourself rivals with your neighbor, or even the scientists' child. Of course, that rivalry doesn't matter when an evil force threatens to destroy the peace of your world. Of course, you defeat them successfully, and leave with some Legendaries to capture. The quest to fill the Ultimate National 'Dex is on!!
