A few hours ago, I was listening to music when my laptop went really slow and the music was like a broken record. I tried to shut down normally but it didnt work so i held the power button. I logged on again and signed into my profile but my laptop is sayin its corrupt and it logs me on with a temperary profile. All my documents are gone and pics. is there anyway to fix this?

corrupt we really need to know what files are corrupt so we can fix this also what windows are you running and do you have the install disc for that os.

I am running windows xp, and I dont have the install disc. I think its just my profile thats corrupt
