I downloaded the fix for my copy of the game(got it recently on a pawn shop)so I could use these trainers but this specific trainer(1.9 mega trainer) is causing my PC to freeze after playing the game for a few minutes. It worked fine with the trainer for the un-patched game but when I use this trainer and play the game for at least 10 minutes(includes going through the menus, setting up a skirmish game, etc.) it freezes. Is there some sort of option that causes this? I'm running Vista Home Premium 32-bit, should I run in compatibility mode for XP? Also when the computer freezes it makes a short beep followed by a long one and then a pause.
Thanks for any and all help and sorry if this has been posted or answered before, I'm new here.
No, its the trainer. the game runs fine without it. My antivirus can't be causing any trouble because I have avast prof. edition and it doesn't detect any sort of fake virus or anything on the trainer plus I added the trainer to the exceptions list.
Also this seems to happen sometimes because after the third try to play with the trainer it ran fine, but when I tried to play again this morning it froze.
I might be getting another computer next week so I will try to see if its my computer that's causing the problem.

right click on the trainer .exe and run as administrator and i think it should run fine. i'm re-playing the game for the N'th time and am using the v1.9 trainer and its working beautifully.

I already have full administrator privileges on my computer thus every file that I open runs as administrator(yes I checked on the trainer if the trainer is running as well)
EDIT: I checked on the properties of the trainer and it, for some reason, was running in compatibility mode for win98, and that was causing some trouble with my BIOS-ROM for some reason, thanks guys for all your attempts to help me with my problem!
