I would rate it 10 because the fighting styles of the soldiers, the DLC's, and the best part, the ship battles. Do you guys know if there will be another Total War!? If not then give your suggestions here.

8...AI is alot better than it was but still needs improvement before it will begin doing things like intelligently transporting troops by sea, and diplomacy needs to be better. Also, i've lost 176 straight duels with a 50% or better win chance according to the game, rakes are nearly useless, and preachers have a tendancy to spawn in the same place over and over rather than at churches that dont already have preachers, so the agents need to be fixed. It would also be nice to have more data available on trade, immigration, happiness, etc. I havent tried napoleon TW yet, but it doesnt seem all that different from what ive seen. Im actually considering busting m2tw back out and downloading the third age mod

Before the DLCs and whatnot I'd have said 8.

    Now, I say 5.

Between the various add-ons, they've made it way too ****ing annoying and complicated to mod it yourself.

The great thing about the Total War games was the easy customization.

    And that's gone.
In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

5 Being MTW2 has a better AI system..... I really wish they remade Shogun. I know there is a mod out there but for some reason I can't get it to work...

5 - slow turns. sloppy AI. when I play I can only imagine what a great game this could have been. I also don't like the fact that there isnt an option to cheat like in previous total war games.

I cant wait for the total wars that come in the future, I wonder if they are going to do one specific for the Civil War, WW I or II or if they are going to do a modern times one. I would love to take some Rangers, US Arty and tanks into Bagdad

i give it a 6. it does have some draw backs but it was a fairly entertaining game. i'm restraing myself from overly critical of the game.
