R.U.S.E. in reality is quite a difficult strategy game. It is good, but it takes an extreme RTS fan to play it. It is a game that really needs to be played as a real strategy. It emphasizes the word strategy to the max. It is in essence a real strategy game, where strategy requires thinking, careful planning, quick execution and most of all patience. Most RTS today are dynamic where it is only required to simply build a few units (Offense and Support units) upgrade them and send them off to wreak havoc on the enemy's main base. R.U.S.E. is quite different. In reality it can be said that it is a simulation of war utilizing different sorts of strategies to deceive the enemy.
Settlers 7 is not so bad according to Joe Sinicki. I haven't seen a game that Joe has made a faulty review about. Every review was either dead on center or pretty close.
thank u Ady for letting us know the actual meaning of the word strategy . i imagine it'd be hard for u to believe but some of us actually do understand the meaning of the word RUSE as a title was chosen for the game very wisely..because RUSE's defition is Deception/Subterfuge and anyone playing the game will have to use deception to progress in the game and i think Ubisoft has made that very clear from the start. its unlike ur usual RTS..that's for sure my friend.

I've never heard of R.U.S.E. before but after seeing some videos on IGN I think it looks awesome. I've got my 360 downloading the trailers right now.
Two things I'm wondering about. The control layout on the 360, can't imagine that working too well.
And on the PC, the graphics, whether my laptop would be able to handle them. If it can I'm definitely interested in this game.

That is not the point I tried to emphasize. I emphasized the fact that it requires patience much like a real strategy. If you take Warhammer, AoE or Starcraft and compare it to RUSE, they have very little in common. Our friend there mentioned Starcraft, Warhammer and AoE and I felt that I had to explain to him that RUSE won't be anything like them.
