My mum lives overseas, and since I don't currently have a phone, I just sent her an Email.

Actually honestly, budgeting - I had to get rid of my home phone temporarily due to being tight on money, and we would not get much talking done anyway on my cell phone because it costs too much, and we normally talk on the phone every couple weeks for an hour plus. I would normally ring from someone else's house as it cost them 0.01 cents a minute to ring New Zealand, but they have gone up Queensland for the week end.

Unfortunately, I live with my mom. So I've got actually get her something. Doing my chores and telling her I love her stopped being popular a couple of years ago, so I've got to get something tangible. Bleh. Any ideas?
