The game was patched to 1.02, when you enable the trainer there is no problem. It is only after you select any of the trainer options that you will get an error which crashes the game and throws a General Protection Fault.

I reproduced this issue with version 1.02 of the game, the current trainer and 2 different machines running Windows 7 32 Bit.
1. Enable trainer at main menu
2. Went to play Deniable Ops game
3. Started the game
4. Attempted to select the Unlimited Execute trainer option
5. Immediately exit to desktop (game still running)
6. General Protection Fault appears with the following info:

Again as I mentioned, the only thing new in my configuration (app, hardware etc...) is the update of the game itself. Prior to the update to 1.02 the game and the trainer functioned flawlessly. I was rather amazed given the current state of PC gaming that this game was previously bug free for me and I can only assume it is just a simple matter of determining what changed in the game and getting the trainer to reference those memory addresses properly.

Yes that is most likely the case. I too agree. Just to clarify, my post was not meant in any shape or fashion to say the trainer is bad or to reflect on CH's work. I merely noticed the issue this morning when I (out of my own ignorance) allowed the game to patch, even though I had ZERO issues previously with it or the trainer. I came to the site and searched around the board for any news of others who had perhaps already posted the issue and I didn't find anything. So I simply posted my findings to (1) inform CH staff if they weren't already aware and (2) to hopefully alert users to NOT patch the game if they aren't having issues since it will break the trainer's function. Nothing more - nothing less.

I have already reinstalled the game so I have version 1.0 running and have said no to the patch install. So my specific problem is resolved. I have no problem waiting for CH to create a new trainer/update to resolve issues with the patch since I am well aware that CH is ALWAYS on top of things (the best example being the one you mentioned - CODMW2) which is why this is the best cheat and game site I currently know of and I have recommended it to many a user in the last 3 years. Keep up the good work.

*edit* I know i can reinstall and use version 1.0 but i would love to use the options of the mega trainer.

symptoms: If the trainer is running game gives dark screen and won't enable graphics during load.

if I start the trainer at the main menu then hit F1. All is ok until I continue game ==> at which point it it crashes to desktop with GPF
