SO I need to find my max weight for lifting. Right now I can lift 120 on a horizontal lift machine (basically it simulates lifting by doubling the weight or something?) I can do 5 sets of 10 lifts on 120 pounds with a minute rest in between each set. Can someone find my max lift?
P.S. This is so I am able to find 80% of the lift (recommended amount)
I normally do 12 reps on most things, but I find a good rule on finding the right weight is if you can 8-12 reps and be really struggling by the last one, with most weight training you do. Honestly though I think a minutes rest is too long(for what your doing at least) 30 second is what you should be going for, and remember get the technique right first. You don't need someone to find a max lift for, trial and error - go by what you feel is right, I find too many people can lift a **** load, but if they were actually doing the exercise correctly they would probably only be lifting half that.

You should also expand on the variety of exercises you do, just working out on one machine won't really do you any good over the long term. Make sure you gain weight evenly over your body.
Make sure you stretch properly too.
