What do you notice about this image?
The correct answer is "the distance from the treeline to the wall is ten paces".
Why is this significant?
This is supposed to be a fortified city aligned with Florence.
It's fortified out of necessity.
Renaissance Italy was a time of almost constant warfare between city-states and their respective hegemonies.
This city would be required to defend itself.
The trees would provide cover to attacking armies--up to TEN PACES FROM THE WALL.
These trees shouldn't be there. They wouldn't be there.
The garrison commander would have conscripted civilian labor and pushed that treeline back a good half mile or so.
If you want people to feel immersed in Renaissance Italy, you need to not make stupid mistakes like this.
u're right. the garrison commander would've definitely preferred an unhindered line of sight for atleast a mile in every direction.
It can get worse ive fallen through many walls i thought were walls then disappear maybe the draw distance is being stupid
At one point i was stabbed or shot by something i never found on top of a clock tower
my horse ran through the castle walls...
And well the time in this game is messed up like when you go from scene to scene its like from 1400 to 150909 years later and your the exact same no age lines(wrinkles) no stamina loss no disease very unimmersing
