What do you think music is? What would you call music?
Pretty much answer those questions, don't say what bands you like and who you don't like. That's not the point, it can be very hard to define music. A lot of people would say serialism isn't music, yet others would (I do). Others would say the work done by John Cage isn't music. People say Justin Bieber is music, and yes just because his voice is to high to be 16 and that he mostly likely doesn't make any of his songs, it is music, although painful to say. It all really comes down to personal opinion.
I have my own opinions, but I have to go to school so DISCUSS!

it all comes down to one's personal opinion..taste and mood. and as zorrodude said..there's no such thing as bad music. one person's perfume is another person's poison. for me music in any form or language is an expression of one's emotions. food for the soul.

To me music is an art form that can either soothe you or make you want to destroy things (depending on your preference). It is a way to escape reality and just go with the flow of the music.
Music's pretty cool. It's been proven to be slightly more than a form of entertainment (it could also be considered art), and it affects plants as well as animals.
