Is anyone aware of any anti-cheat protection in BioShock 2? After I modify any part, or simply attach a debugger, it will work for a short time, then crash. If there is any anti-cheat software, what is it? And methods of a work around would be appreciated.
EDIT: After a bit of research, I found that GFWL checks for modified memory, and Psych has posted a solution for it a while back. However, my xliveservices.dll is version 3.2.217.0. Is there an updated hex string i should attempt to locate that is not "8B EC 83 EC 20 53 56 57 8D 45 E0 33 F6 50 FF 75 0C 8B F9"?
And I tried his byte code, for some reason it isn't working.
I searched for "8B EC 83 EC 20 53 56 57 8D 45 E0 33 F6 50 FF 75 0C 8B F9" using MHS searching using hex string, and nothing came up, should i try using another program to find the location of the code?
