Ok, i am obsessed with films, I usually watch 2-3 movies a day. I watch them through my laptop. Recently I bought a 50 inch lcd television. It is the pinnacle of awesomeness. I would like to know how I can stream the video's I play through my laptop to my television, any ideas?

My uncles tv has a cord running from the back of it that you can plug into the back of a computer or into a laptop and use it as a monitor. I dont know if he bought that, or if it came on his tv. Try something like that, if they're available to purchase.
There are many ways, but some of them won't work if your computer and television don't have the proper ports. S-video and VGA cables are a couple of options.

Probably bought it. I don't recall getting something like that with my telly.
You should look for a VGA-to-Component cable, or if your telly has HDMI ports, a VGA-to-HDMI
