It seems that the older version of Medieval II Total War doesn't function with the new i7 Processors, is anyone else having this problem? if anyone knows why this is please respond with advice on how to make it operate.

I have a Core i7 720QM, works fine. I have 1.3 (1.03) installed as well as Kingdoms. Also, I have Stainless Steel 6.1 mod installed. I have had a couple crashes, but only due to a trainer. When playing without a trainer I don't have any crashes.

I'm running Win 7 64-bit as well.
