I got another question, regarding reputation in this game. Is there any other way to gain reputation other than killing those bums that think you're going to rob them? It really gets annonying when they start telling me about the Flying Dutchman and I end up with it spawning out of the port I'm coming out.

Especially that's annonying when I edit the game files to start with 999million gold pieces and Man of War, so I really don't want it to spawn and I want to find another way to gain reputation.

To those that don't know - you can join drunk bums at the tavern for a drink and then keep asking for another round till they say that you're trying to rob them, then you choose the option 2 (some kind of insult) and a fight starts. Usually 2 victories over those bums = incerase in reputation.

here's a rep glitch I found, go to a church, save before talking to the priest; talk to him ask him for a job, if he says no, or does not you the monster quest, reload until he does. DO NOT OVERWRITE THIS SAVE. go to the cave or grotto and kill the skeletons (sometimes there not all there so you can't complete the quest that's why you don't save over the priest save) complete the quest, go back to the priest, and tell him you killed the skelies then, (here's the trick) tell him again! and again, again!!!....untill you are a hero, and loved by whatever nation the church belongs to...


For the dutchman try putting your ship in at the port controller and give you officer all your money (the new Capitan of your parked ship) then buy a tartan and charge the dutchman!!!
