Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.01, Super Health, Super Squad Health, E....

OK, first off, I know I'm supposed to refer to the Trainer Troubleshooting Guide, and that's what I did. I added the trainer to my antivirus program's (AVG in this case) PUP exception list AND the Resident Shield exception list, but when AVG ran it's scheduled scan, it quarantined the trainer anyway, claiming it to be infected with Trojan Horse Generic 17.AZFJ. I've done what the Troubleshooting Guide said to do, but it doesn't seem to help.

I have never used AVG, but some AV's have multiple exception lists. So you may have not included the trainer to a particular exception list that protects files from getting quarantined due to virus scans.

Unfortunately, the only thing I can exclude from scans are whole directories, and not individual files. I'd rather not do this and leave a whole directory (my Desktop, in this case is where I'd be keeping the trainer) vulnerable to virus attacks.

What you can do is create a new folder and put ALL your trainers in there. And then add this "Directory" to its exceptions list.

well, it still figured out where the trainer was, and quarantined it.

Disable AVG, place all you trainers in one spot, add this folder to AVG's exception lists, then re-enable AVG.

yes well, AVG doesn't have an all-in-one disable option

Then disable everything one by one?
