I don't get this squeamishness with games.
My parents trained to kill Russians. My dad killed Vietnamese and Iraqis. Sometimes he's like Clint Eastwood in Gran Turino "We used to stack ****s like you five feet tall and use you as sandbags".
In my family, it's the job of the kids to gut the deer that the adults shoot. I was on the rifle range as soon as I could control a .22.
They think video games are funny. Like shooting this guy here or that demon there could ever equate to doing anything in real life. Like that exaggerated cartoony pixilated blood could ever look real.
After Columbine, when everyone was yelling that Doom taught these kids how to shoot. Bull****ing****. In Doom, you shoot straight ahead and the bullets hit crap above and below you automatically. Modern games with all their "realism" don't teach you how to hold the rifle so you can actually aim. No amount of looking down video game sights can teach you how to look down real sights.
****, over.
And I got way off topic. But I don't care much.
