im in kanto now and i have beaten the pewter city gym and now im in cerulean city and when i go in to fight misty nobody is there in the gym what do i do?
Go up the bridge, then go as far right as possible (you'll have to battle a lot of trainers on the way). Misty should be there on the huge cliff. After you talk to her, she'll go back to the gym.
u should also go right of cerulean and goto the powerplant and do the whole thing where you get the machine part. the two can be done at the same time so its good to get it out of the way now.
I think you have to do the power plant thing first. Just go to the power plant (it's right next to Cerulean) and talk to the people there, then you'll know what to do. You can't even wake up the snorlax without doing this anyway.
ummm i thought u had to goto lavender town to wake up snorelax. u talk to the guy in radio station and then goto snorlax. open pokegear and move curser to very top and it plays pokeflute music. talk to snorelax and he wakes up. then the battle starts and you can either catch him or kill him. hope i helped!
