I can't give you the best nerdy answer, simply because I'm not exactly the best guy to ask advice for when it concerns computers. I'll give it a go though.

    1, State your OS
Windows XP Professional (came with the 2nd hand laptop)

    2, Pro's Con's
Pro - easier for me navigate at least compared to vista, haven't tried windows 7 yet though.
Con - Vista/7 have come out more recently, so surely its got to eventually become outdated soon, maybe even already.

3, Is it easy to use???(noob friendly)
I or anyone else I know have never had trouble navigating it.

    4, Price
No idea, and depends what currency we're talking. I'm sure you'd be able to download it for free through some illegal website somewhere.

5, What would you rate it?
8/10 - Nothing is perfect, but it gets the job done efficiently for the job I require it for.

    3. Very very easy to use (Ultra n00b friendly).
    4. ~150 USD
    5. 4.5/5

i think its time u upgraded to Win7..if u want to play Just Cause 2. its very user friendly..smooth and fast..doesn't guzzle system resources like Vista does.

    1. XP with whatever the last service pack was

    2. Pro - way easier to use than Vista, don't know about 7
Con - none I can think of, it does everything I want it to do

    3. Of course it's easy, it's Windows

    4. No clue, came with the laptop

    5. 10 I guess, it doesn't crash and it always works
I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

    1, State your OS
Mac OSX Snow Leopard on laptop (Windows Vista 64 on computer at home)

    2, Pro's Con's
Pro - Reliable, fast, useful for my art course and it looks nice.
Con- Pretty much no games, compatibility issues with windows software and overall it's over-simplified.

3, Is it easy to use?
Depending on what you want to do with it, yes. I find it very easy to use.

    4, Price
The OS update is dirt cheap but, Macs in general are very expensive, mine is pro too.

5, What would you rate it?
9/10, does everything I wanted it to, I have issues almost daily with Windows but my Mac has not faulted once, it loses a point for the lack of games but I have my PC, PS3 and Xbox for that.

    1: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

    2:
Pros: Fast, efficient, very good for gaming, no software incompatibilities that I know of, excellent UI, and superb cosmetic options.

Cons: I don't know if this is my fault or not, but when I try to cut/paste certain files or on occasion at random Windows Explorer will stop responding, and I have to restart Explorer, which also reverts my icons to the last-saved setup on the desktop. No biggie, just a small annoyance that's probably my fault.

3: I wouldn't know, I'm not the average user, and I will never let my family touch my rig after the last time they got about a dozen trojans on here.

    4: Gift from a friend.

5: 99/100. There is no perfect OS, but this is pretty darn close.
    Yo.

    1, State your OS
    A. Windows 7 Home Premium (x64)
    B. Ubuntu 9.10 (x64)

    2, Pro's Con's
    --Windows---
Pro: Essential for programs I use as well as StarCraft.
Con: After a long life of about 6 months to a year, the installation grows sluggish from my various tests and power users and ect and requires replacing.

    ---Linux---
Pro: Free. Increased security. Very customizable interface.
Con: If you want to add the "bling" to it, you need to know what you're doing to it. Extensive customization requires more knowledge on how the Linux architect works.

3, Is it easy to use???(noob friendly)
    ---Windows---
Fairly simple given that the user isn't stupid and goes looking for trouble without taking precautions.

    ---Linux---
Out of the box and fine with what it comes with in GUI, it's easy as hell. If you want the bling bling and highly customized box, you need to know CLI extensively. The more customization you want, the harder it gets and the easier it becomes to break.

    4, Price
    ---Windows---
Came with the laptop. Laptop cost about 900 USD.

    ---Linux---
    Free...nothing else to explain really.

5, What would you rate it?
    ---Windows---
10/10 - Most faults come from people not know how to operate their system. Granted I've had problems but it was due to me pushing the limits of the OS to see what can and cannot be done but I knew the risks.

    ---Linux---
7/10 - Fairly good though has a lot of issues with games and some software (though free) can be mind boggling to figure out how it's used. Software not received through the built in repository of the OS can be tricky to figure out how to install and manage. Although more secure than Windows, much easier to break since the root account has no restrictions on what it does to the OS at all (i.e. no safety nets when on root account).
    Your bitterness, I will dispel

    1. Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)

    2. It's basically an improved Vista, although some older programs won't work with it. I haven't encountered that often enough to where it's a problem, though.

    3. Windows is always easy to use.

    4. Comes free with most computers, can be a bit costly if you're upgrading.

    5. 9/10, Windows is great, but sometimes I have to work around it to get what I need.
