Anno 1404: Dawn of Discovery - Venice Message Board  

I have been playing around for about two hours now and tested every possibility. I came to conclusion that the CJB trainer Crashes my game after about 10-15 minutes of game play. I played the game without the trainer for a good half an hour and no crash. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If yes how did you solve it? "If you did"?

Hmmmmm well I am still running XP and it didn't crash for me however I dislike the trainer because the money is always 1214 gold and doesn't change. But the trainer did work and didn't cause a crash, but there were times though when I pressed the keys and nothing would happen.

Are you using the offline version (Obvious question), and have you updated it?

Most of the time, the code areas change when the game version is different. Hence, the Trainer which is meant for some other version crashes the game.

Redownload the trainer, it has been updated 2 days ago due to stability problems

I have the Direct2Drive version of the game. Both the Original and the Expansion, which is actually called in the U.S. at least it is Dawn Of Discovery. I have noticed that if I don't use the money/honor or the infinite ships/military cheats the game does not crash at all.

Thanks, I just checked my file and I have downloaded it on April 1st 2010. I'm gonna download it now and check it out.

The problem may be that CJB's trainer does not support the d2d version.

I have never had any problems with his trainer with 1701 A.D. also purchased from Direct2Drive. Worked awesome with The Sunken Dragon. I think CJB is right, it may be the fact that he had Gold and Honor together as one cheat, now they are separates as I have noticed, going to check it out now.
