yes i have the right version of both the trainer and the game. also tried the regular ch trainer and it activates but none of the functions work but i think its just the steam versions that are having issues.
If none of the options work then your AV is blocking it or your OS doesn't have permission to write to the game. Uninstall your AV and run trainer as admin.

well hi CJB . I am German User of CH , and I liked your trainer very much , but since the first Patch came out , my Antivirus says that your trainer (and only yours ,Calibers work fine withouth any warning at all to the present day) contains some Virus . It says TR/Cryptpack.gen or something , and I would kind of like that it doesnt , because I'm really frightened to just allow it , even though it might be a false-positive warning (because I had some Issues with (WoW) game accounts being banned/hacked after using an anno1404 trainer here with positive warning ). I may submit it to the AV thingy to be checked again , but before I do that , I would like to ask the following . MAybe you could look into your trainers again , and see if there was something wrong or something , because I liked your trainers very much at the beginning , but lost some of my trust due to that being-hacked experience in the past . Side note : I may as well be wrong with the trainers causing that trouble back then , no offense or anything meant, and I'm of course responsible for my security . Thanks for your time (using Avira Antivir Version 10 Premium security suite with warning level set to highest [wich may cause more false-positive warnings])
I use Avira free version myself, and it doesn't ring a bell here. I know that all virus warnings are false-postive. But thats what everyone can say about their creations. So its totally up to you.
Also you may have noticed there are a lot of posts on this trainer and no one complained about a virus. Even if it did contain a virus, CH would have happily dislined or removed the trainer already

heh. Yeah that's what I thought as well.. Anyways thanks for replying , I just didnt read all pages~
As I said , I'm using the scanner with high priority ...so that may lead to the false-positive warning of the trainer , but I just wanted to hear something from it's creator ;P
