    Actually, Windows Vista is the crap OS . Windows 7 is actually quite good and reliable.

    And you have to admit ,this was gonna happen sooner or later. Games are gonna start avoiding DirectX 9 and Windows XP . It's the way the world is moving and you should jump on board while you can

    I like your avatar

    Windows XP -> Windows 7

    Resource usage > stable, speedy environment = Windows Vista

    Being an avid member of the MSDN and a programmer myself; I'm very impressed with W7. It covered system memory in the OS architecture way better than Vista did. I think Vista was just meant to be more stupid proof and shiny. W7 actually did what it needed to do and is very well built. I used vista, couldn't stand the technical brick walls it came with. Vista was only stable until you tried to change it or do something with it that anyone beyond the average user did. I've had morons argue with me that it was a more secure system...ya uh huh...again, for stupid people maybe. (No offense to any nitwit reading this, though, if you get offended; you're a nitwit so I can't help ya.)

    Back to topic though; It's not the first game to not work on XP. As systems improve and graphic technologies (both hardware and software) advance, the old stuff is going to get left out. I personally like the idea that it requires the less dated stuff. Means it might be worth actually seeing. lol Only played the demo so far, and really enjoy it. Gonna buy it next week.

    "Just Cause 2 only supports Windows Vista or Windows 7 and requires a video card that supports DirectX 10 or higher. Windows XP and DirectX 9 are not supported."
    vista and windows 7 are (in my opinion) crap... so i guess this is a game ill just have to miss...

    Its just a common thing that happened like in the past when many game dev started to moves from Win 98 to XP... now its happened again & since this game supported DirectX 11 & 3D graphic, I believe XP definitely couldn't accommodate its function so that's why this game doesn't supported XP

    XP is a good OS but unfortunately, its 2010 its the era of 7

    I actually upgraded to Vista to play Just Cause 2.Vista was pretty better than XP.At least in simple things,it's awesome.I know Seven is the best OS around 4 gamers.If I weren't a gamer, I would be using Ubuntu instead of the horsecrap called Windows,anyway.
