is it harmful when i have a bang on my head? i had it whe i was 8. it was a major bump on the back of my head. i also had a bump on the left side of my head. it was bleeding. does it have an effect on me? i sometimes feel my head numb. please help. thanx

the head is a lot tougher than most people realize. i've had plenty of bumps on my head...played a lot of soccer and hockey. but if u have doubts then maybe u should get a CT/MRI scan. but i think u should be okay.

Bleeding doesn't mean much. Even minor head wounds bleed like a faucet.
