Whay don't they just make one type of CD for each game, that works on all platforms!? That would be pretty awesome.

Then why not make them work the same
Or make the CD's so that they can work on all of them.

CD's would be much more expensive for users who own the PC only.

Less CD's would probably have to be produced if this happens therefore, lowering the cost.
